ELLEN'S POV;
I stuffed the last things into my bag when I heard the doorbell ring. My mom opened the door and I heard her talk to my best friend Lisa about the trip.
"You are going to have so much fun, promise that you'll call at least three times a week"
I grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs. Lisa was dressed in a white and black flannel and black jeans. I smiled at her and she smiled back. I couldn't believe we were actually doing this. In just a few hours we were going to sit on a plane on our way to Australia, for college.
"Are you ready to go?" Lisa asked me. I nodded "have never been so ready" I said.
I gave Lisa my bags and told her that I'd be right back.
I went in to my dads room and hugged him goodbye. "We'll visit you soon he said"
I got back to Lisa and she handed me my bags. "Goodbye then" I said and gave my mom a last hug before we walked to the taxi waiting outside.

LISA'S POV;
"I need something to eat" I said to Ellen and grabbed her arm.
"But you did just ate" she replied.
"I mean like candy or something" I said and stood up.
"Fine" Ellen stood up next to me and we began to walk to the store.
I picked out a few chocolate bars and a soda and paid for it.

"You can board the plane to Australia in 10 minutes" a voice from the speakers said.
"C'mon we gotta hurry" Ellen said and starten to walk faster.
10 minuters later we were sittning next to each other on the plane.
"I'm kinda nervous" I said and grinned. "Yeah me too" Ellen said and grinned back.

Patience had never been my strong side, and the flight would take about 20 hours.
After 3 hours Ellen were already asleep and I had no one to talk to. So I took up my phone and plugged my headphones in. I put on shuffle on Blink-182 on Spotify and relaxed.

(17 hours later)
"Ellen wake up" I said. Ellen slowly shut her eyes open.
"What?" She asked a bit annoyed. "We're about to land, I can't believe you've slept through.. I don't know like 17 hours"
Ellen laughed "I most have been tired" she said.

ELLEN'S POV;
I stretched my legs and saw Lisa doing the same thing.
"That was the longest flight I've ever been on" I said and Lisa nodded.
A taxi were waiting on us to take us to our new apartment.

(After a 15 minute drive)
"Omg it's perfect" I said as we stood in our new apartment in Sydney.
"Yeah it really is" Lisa said and threw her bag on one of the beds.
"I'm sleeping here" She said.
I nodded and put my bag on the other bed.

After a while of unpacking we decided to go to bed.
"Goodnight Lisa" I said
I didn't get any answer. She was probably already sleeping.
