—hiccup haddock - his heart sank and he felt dizzy when someone told him what happened to you while you were gone—(you were flying on your dragon before someone shot you and your dragon down, but in a lucky turn of events you escaped and your dragon brought you back to berk) - his main priority is you, of course. making sure you don't DIE and you get the help you need, but while he does that he is very much planning to get the person back who did this to you - unless it turns out to be an accident like you falling off of your dragon, then he doesn't and he stays with you while you're getting your open wounds dressed - when you're better enough to talk, he does ask you a few questions like what happened, if you could tell what the person looked like, etc.
—astrid hofferson - she was there and she saw it happen which is like ten times worse than just being told it - you were hurt by a dragon trapper who had everyone in cages besides you, maybe it was your snarky comebacks or he just truly disliked you to keep you out of one - no one could do anything but pray and look away when you and the bad guy started to fight, knowing they're almost always big strong people you didn't really have a chance, and she was for sure crying at this point - but there was a tiny moment where everyone on the ship was distracted, so one of the dragons blasted itself out of the cage and got everyone out in the nick of time - they got you, and she made hiccup take you back (he's got the fastest dragon and could get you back to berk faster than she could) - after, when you're in the healing progress she comes and checks on you at least 6 times a day, talking to you and saying how lucky it was that everyone got out in time. AND she does all your daily chores for you till you're better
—tuffnut thorston - he feels so bad, like REALLY bad - he thought it'd be really funny to pull this specific prank on you, but it turned out to only hurt you—literally - it wasn't that severe that you were near death, but you still got hurt with a few bruises and deep cuts - after you got checked up and your cuts cleaned, you had a conversation with him about how he needs to tone down his pranks- at least towards you and he quickly agreed, apologizing to you again - he does anything you want for weeks after because he still feels bad
—ruffnut thorston - she starts panicking with you after you find her and tell her what happened - you had to wobble in tears when you did search for her, noticing how just a little while ago you broke multiple of your bones in an accident with your dragon - when you tell her it's okay but you are in pain and need a doctor she calms down a bit and helps you walk towards someone who can help while alerting her brother who told hiccup and everyone else - she starts cracking jokes eventually which cheers you up while you're getting your injuries checked
—fishlegs ingerman -well, it was a normal day with the besties searching a new island to try and find a new species of dragon and everyone ended up (dumbly) splitting up - that was the biggest mistake because indeed, there was a new species of dragon BUT it wasn't a very nice one, it ended up slamming you into a tree from a slap by its tail 👍🏻 - everyone heard your yelp and started toward your direction, when they found you, you were on the ground clutching your stomach in pain - he practically started CRYING and he was freaking out, everyone agreed it was time to go home and they took you and your dragon back to berk - he was still a nervous wreck on the way back AND when you were getting checked up - he stayed next to you for a while after and kept asking if you were okay. he still asks to this day
—snotlout jorgenson - in an epic fight with someone bad you made one mistake and got hit in the head - when he saw you lying on the ground and the guy on top of you, holding his axe and ready to goddamn murder you something sparked inside of him and he quickly finished what he was doing and went full speed yelling toward the guy - and i mean, as fast as he can run with the weapon he had above his head, ready to attack– which is what he did and knocked the man out and off of you - he called out to the others, telling them you were down and he made sure to stay next to you and fight off anyone who came near either of you - after you got back to berk and you were getting the care you needed, he stayed with you the ENTIRE TIME like he didn't leave once while your injuries were healing (everyone teased him for it after you were fine)
THIS WAS A FUN REQUEST TO DO WITH THESE CHARACTERS EVEN IF ITS ABNORMALLY LONG
being able to come up with WHY you were severely hurt was the best part
