—hiccup haddock - he was so impressed and intrigued by the instrument that he completely stopped working to watch you play it - and now whenever you do play it he stops whatever he's doing to come and listen - he's always got time for you
—astrid hofferson - it depends on where and what time you're playing it because if she's busy she won't really react but if it's during a chill hour then she will listen in - she does think it's cool and might compliment you on it
—tuffnut thorston - he'd be interested in it for like 3 minutes then be distracted by something else - in those three minutes, he watched you play, asked about it (a lot), and if you let him, tried to play it himself which didn't go as planned and he probably broke it
—ruffnut thorston - she would stare at you in amazement before coming really close to you and saying how cool it is - she doesn't ask to play herself but for you to keep playing
—fishlegs ingerman - he's so gobsmacked but also really impressed - after he's done staring at you, he tells you how cool it is then asks multiple questions about it and asks if you could teach him how to play whatever instrument it is - "😮"
—snotlout jorgenson - he might seem unimpressed, but trust me he is he's just too stubborn to show it - he tells you that it's easy and he can do it too, but when he tries he fails MISERABLY and he comes up with some funny excuse - "no! a dragon screamed into my ears so i can't hear the notes, y/n!"
