All my life...
For as long as I can possibly remember...
I've wanted to sneak into a Cineplex movie.
And now it was finally about to happen at Park Royal and VIP. It was simply incredible.
My supervillains and I claimed home turf on Bowen Island, so we took the ferry to check out the theatre and new gadgets.
As my warriors and I infiltrated the building at around 13:30 military time, buying a fake ticket to a restricted film, it was really happening. Beatrice Bob, one of my top recruited soldiers, toned with black, bushy hair, stood to the side near the arcade, briefly distracting the tall, ugly-looking guy at podium who always looks half asleep.
There it was...my chance to have my dream come true.
I ran so fast into theatre 2, blending in like a little sea urchin. I always knew I had superpowers, but the feeling I got sneaking past the door and into the seats was like mainlining adrenaline. Wow...what an experience. I felt like I had just swam with sharks, or jumped out of an airplane.
Then, just as beautiful and sacred as it was, giving me memories that would last a lifetime, I saw two Cineplex employees hovering near the bottom of the stairs. The same one from podium, the ugly sleepy head, pointed us out in the top right corner, before disappearing like the coward he was, letting his boy do the work.
Sunny
Had we not been inside a dark room, I would have used my invisibility superpower to hide, but sadly it only works in spaces with light.
And so we were caught, thrown out, but absolutely least respected, snitched on. My comrades and I wished to know immediately who had delivered such a low blow. We shall not tolerate such disrespect, and would retaliate with any means necessary to regain control. Who on earth had snitched us out? Which foe had picked a battle so wicked and treacherous?
And there he was...the tall ugly guy standing at podium.
We looked at his nametag.
Nick
My alphas and I glanced at one another, then back to him.
"Snitchhhhhh!" we all yelled together.
And that would be the start of my never-ending hatred for Nick. I made it that very moment, the one in which he'd taken away my dream, that I was going to make his life a living hell. I would go to the edge of the multi-universe and back to seek my revenge against him. After all, he was a snitch.
We started pulling up on Nick like OG gangsters, at the most random times, coming all the way from the island on the ferry to harass him. In retrospect, we had no lives, but we still felt like soldiers that not even the U.S. military could handle. Stone-cold savages that none of the employees or managers at the theatre could deal with, and gave us something to do with our pathetic existence outside of being rebellious supervillains. We were ready to take over the theatre like Batman in Gotham City.
Regardless, Nick always seemed to be working, and still looked half asleep.
"Snitchhhhhh!" We'd never let him forget it. What he'd done was simply unforgivable. I'd often use my teleportation superpower, to sneak up when he'd least expect it. But like my ability to read minds, the power only works when I'm within 50 yards of distance.
