"Mom, I'm sorry,"

"No, I should be, I should have told you, I shouldn't have been so awful towards Hiro, he actually isn't bad, in fact he's a really good young man," My mom's eyes go all glossy and I know she's close to tears.

"He really is mom, but about my father," I begin but stop when a tear slides from her eyes.

"Sweety it's ok you can ask me any thing you want, it's fine,"

"Why did he leave?" the question brings dread to my mothers face.

"He supposedly found someone is Ohio, left in the night without another word,"

"Not a note?"

"No,"

"But he was so loving and-"

"That's why I kept it from you as long as I did, I didn't want you to know the truth,"

"I don't understand," I sit with my head in my hands as we stop at a read light. "He couldn't just leave you like that, there had to be another reason he left he couldn't possibly just leave because of someone else, he left you, his kids, that's so unlike him,"

"Ok," I agree and we sit in silence the rest of the way back to our house. Back at home I quickly rush my things inside putting them away sloppily. I need to get to Hiro quick. I sprint outside to meet aunt cass by the Cafe door.

"Cass I have to speak to Hiro, it's urgent,"

"Go on up sweet heart," she nods into the cafe and I fallow pursuit running up the steps into Hiro's room greeted also by Tadashi and Baymax.
