Chapter 6. Attack

After I accepted to meet the pack tomorrow sleep got me but the stress made me wake up early in the morning. I have that feeling of not being ready. I love to take care of people but meeting my new family it's something else. I can only hope that they will like me. Probably John felt my state and he moved closer to me kissing my temple.

"What's wrong? I can feel something is on your mind." Since I first met him his deep voice is music to me.

"Just a bit worried for tonight." I want to take a shower so I got up and went to the bathroom. I felt he got up too and probably will follow me. So I locked the door. I am curious how he will react to my joke. But he never tried the door. I felt him pushing the barrier in my mind. "Baby I have to check the security cameras we ordered and join Luck and Michael to install them quickly. I know it's 5 in the morning but we want to finish soon and if we move fast I will be back until 8." I didn't believe that they will move so fast with the cameras. I wonder who delivered them so fast. "It's ok I will try and get some more sleep. Thank you for letting me know." I finished my business in the bathroom and since it's still early I thought some more sleep won't cause any harm, John will wake me up when he is back. I took his pillow in my arms, I love the warmth and the blanket provides it for me.

"Malia.....Wake up sweetie." I looked in the direction of the sound and saw John. He is handsome. And in this moment something that I am used to happened.

"I am in the packhouse at the table with the entire pack. They are lovely people. Someone from the crowd yelled out of nowhere "For our Lune! Blessed be her and with her we all!" Everyone cheers and looks happy."

"Sweetie are you ok? You looked lost for a moment almost like you would be blind."

"Everything is ok John. You will get used to this, it happens sometimes. " He looked confused. "This is how I look when I have a peek into the future."

"What have you seen?"

"Nothing bad, don't worry. Do we have coffee? I am in desperate need of coffee." He wanted to leave but I caught his hand and I jumped on his back. He caught my legs just in time, walked into the kitchen and started to make coffee. I can't complain at all I love the view I have.

"Here it is baby. Now what have you seen?"

"Tonight meeting with the pack. Apparently, it will be ok."

"Ok. After coffee, we go to see the other room for the new cameras we set this morning. In this way you will know where they are too."

"Great!" I enjoy that he involves me in everything that he does. This makes me get closer to him and prepares me for my future job as a Luna. I am not completely ready, but I will do my best. The mating pull gets stronger I don't know how long we will go without to mate. I have no intention of letting him know about this. I will allow us to get surprised and enjoy the moments we have together.

We left the house as soon as we finished the coffee and he guided me towards a cabin at the edge of the pack houses. The entire establishment looks like a mountain village. We entered and Luck was there.

"Hi Alpha, Luna. Michael, it's in the woods and helps me set the cameras at the right angles."

"Everything works?"

"Of course Alpha. As we planned. We have one more camera and Michael comes here too."

Everything looks well arranged, they are good at organizing and crafting things. The room it's hidden in this cabin, when you enter you would never believe that this house has one more room.

"Hello Alpha and Luna." I turn to see Michael and say hi back. They look tired. It's 12am and they probably haven't eaten anything yet.

"John, do you believe that we can go and eat something? You and the boys look tired and hungry." Luck and Michael looked at John begging for a positive answer.
