You stood in the conference room with Integra. Integra sat down and murmured to herself. You heard a vampire talking about Integra. Then you heard Walter and Victoria. You smirked and said,

"Don't push yourself, old man." Integra looked at you and said,

"What?" You looked at her and said,

"Nothing. But the enemy is coming. I must protect you at all costs. Do you understand?" She looked at you and said,

"Yes. Please be careful." You nodded and she grabbed your arm again before you left. She kissed you and you were shocked that she did this in front of the round table. You kissed back and pulled away saying,

"I'll be fine. I'll come back for you." She nodded and let you go. You walked out of the room and the vampire that was talking about Integra looked at you and said,

"You're the guard of the whore? Haha! You should be easy to kill! I'll rape you, then I'll kill you, then I'll rape you, then I'll kill you, again. You're master will get so much worse!" You pulled out your guns and said,

"Over my dead body." The vampire smirked and said,

"That can be arranged, slut!" You growled and said "It's too bad I can't kill you before we find out who you're maker is!" You shot his leg and his shoulder.

"You think I'd let you anywhere near my master?!? The likes of you shouldn't even be thinking about coming near her! Your not good enough to even think about her!" You said, as he regenerated his body. He kicked you through the door. You stood up quickly and saw Integra facing him with a gun pointed at him. He laughed and took a step forward. You were next to Integra in the fraction of a second, with your gun pointed at him. His eyes widened and he said,

"What are you? You're not a human and you're not a vampire! Why is someone like yourself helping this slut?!?" You took a step forward and said,

"Who is your maker?" He laughed and said,

"You really think the people who put this chip inside me and ordered me to do this would let me live long enough to tell you who they are?" You stepped back as he caught on fire and wrapped and arm around Integra's waist pulling her away from him. She growled and Walter walked into the room and said,

"Sir Integra. Over half of our defenses have been turned to ghouls. Would you like me to handle it?" One of the round table members butted in and said,

"No, these were your people. Integra, you need to handle them." You stepped up and said,

"Integra-"

"Fine." Integra said, growling slightly. Your eyes followed her as she shot and killed every last ghoul.

Time Skip to later that night in yours and Integra's room

You were laying in bed reading and Integra was taking a shower. You heard the water shut off and Integra shuffle around in the bathroom. You smiled slightly and it faltered as you remebered the pained look on Integra's face. You looked at her as she came out of the bathroom in her pajamas. You sat up and held your arms out to her. She looked at you questionably. You looked at her and said,

"You don't need to act strong here. It's just us." Tears filled her eyes slightly adn she ran into your arms and you held her as she cried. You whispered sweet words into her ear to calm her. When she fell asleep you weren't far behind her.
