"what" Elea was shocked, was Liz playing around, yes she notice that Liz and Alexa never got along but pulling this stunt is not acceptable, Elea was furious.

It was at that point Liz knew that something was terribly wrong with Elea, yes the girl has been acting strange and weird but everyone is weird right?, yes Elea talked to herself a lot but who is she to judge, she herself talks to her food before eating it, what, she as to know that the burger was alright about being eaten.
" we are only two in this room and in all the room in the whole hostel, there is no one bearing Alexa here, Elea what is going on please speak to me"
Eleanor was quiet, she thought about the time she just got to the room, Alexa was the only one there
"The night I resumed, I met Alexa in the room, you were not around...."
"No Elea, you met no one, you had to stay up to wait for me because I was not around and then I promised to take you around the school"
"Alexa took me around the school l, she showed me the tree"
"Elea , I was supposed to take you but something came up and I wasn't able to, so you went ALONE ALONEEEEE, I don't know if you are trying to be funny but please stop you are freaking me out"
" I get you don't like Alexa but pleas stop you are really scaring me"
With that Elea left the hostel crying, what game was Liz playing at, Elea thought maybe because she refused to sit with Liz in class and wanted Alexa company more. And where was Alexa when you need her, she was always out, wait was Liz right, was Alexa her imaginary friend, is she not real, that would explain some looks she got from students when she and Alexa hangs out. Looking up Elea notice that she has reached the tree, how was that even possible, she thought she had been walking for 5 minutes and it takes 15-20 minutes to get to the tree from the hostel, yes she knows she checked but that was beside the point, the point was that how did she get here at such short time, she looked around, something was different about the tree, it still looks beautiful but it was different, for the first time since she met the tree she felt no comfort at it s presence, the vibe she feels is not the same as the day , she placed her hands on the tree, it feels real why would Liz she say it wasn't, Elea tried removing her hand but it was like it was glued to the tree, it was in all words stocked, she kept struggling with the tree, finally she was able to remove her hand but in the process she cut herself, looking at the tree she could see her blood making some sort of pattern on the tree.
What's happening
The blood kept spreading all leading to the root, once it reached the root, it came back up l, tracing the body of the tree, Elea was transfixed, she couldn't look away, even if her life depended on it, which it did. The blood moved to all the leaves, making strange patterns, Eleanor was now shaking where she stood, she started moving back trying to leave that place, in attempt to escape what ever was coming for her, as she kept moving back, she was stopped, she tried moving but no luck, then she felt it, a presence though it felt familiar it was not good, it was suffocating, it moved placing its hands on Elea shoulder from behind, gripping it hard, so hard that its finger was pieced Elea shoulder, screaming Elea tried to move again but she wouldn't, it only helped in making the finger dig deep into her, blood was flowing from her shoulder to her body, when it finally let go, Elea turned as slow as humanly possible, expecting to find something from another world, something inhumane, but she found Alexa, it looks like Alexa but the hands were of that of a demon, it looks like the skin was so rotten it started falling off, one could see the bones and claws, Elea tried talking but instead of words blood gushed out.
Alexa what's happening
Alexa smiled, the bitch fucking smiled, she looked at the girl in front of her but she was as good as gone, the tree had done its part.
"I am Felicia Magnot, I am the owner of this land, come with me let me tell you a story but sure to listen"
She started walking, not looking back, Eleanor stood where she was no strength to move, she was in all manner of sense incapable, but as she saw that Alexa .... Felicia was not waiting and she needed answers, so she started walking one step at a time.
"I got married at age 16, my family was poor, my father owed a lot if debt, my mother served at different houses trying to get money, so as you can see things was very hard for us, these things I say happened before the foundation of this school, a man from these part, came and asked for my hands in marriage, my father gladly gave me away, my husband brought me here, I knew no one and I kept to myself, unlike what I expected my husband was very nice to me, get brought me everything I wanted, I was so happy, until one day he left for work and never returned alive, they said it was an oncoming car but I knew it was the devil, he didn't want me to be happy, I cried alot I was just 18 then, soon enough his family took over everything but the were kind enough to leave me here, they let me have this land, so I stayed here and survive, it was a rich land, so I started a farm and sold the product in the market and I got money, my little farm business grew and I employed farmers, my husband's brother saw this and grew very angry, he tried taking this land from me, I refused it was all I had of my husband, I had no child for him, I had nothing but this land , why didn't he understand, one day he was angry and drunk, two bad combo if you ask me, I learnt that day, he beat me up till I was so week to even stand, he drag me to this tree and hanged me there, unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at things, the tree was not you ordinary tree, it preserved my soul letting take my revenge on my murderer, you see this tree love a blood, so in order for me to be part of it I have to provide blood for it, so any body that buys this land the tree waste them with my help but when they owner of this schools notice some strange activity, he was smart enough to make a deal with me, so every year I calm two students of my choice and Eleanor Wills I choose you.
Beep Beep Beep was the sound that greeted Elea when she woke up, she opened her eyes and looked around, she was in the hospital and Liz was sitting beside her fast asleep, she tried sitting up waking Liz in the process, she felt a sharp by her shoulder, so laid down back.
" what happened Elea you were found on the floor at the back of the library, seriously bleeding, who attacked you, am sorry for shouting at you that night, I should have handled it better, you have been unconscious for three nights now......."
A nurse entered and check my wound, she confirmed me OK to go home after 24hours, in hopes by then I would be better.
Eleanor would love to think everything went back to normal or that night was a dream but the wound at her shoulder spoke the truth, its been two weeks since she got the wound but it was fresh like a new wound, it keeps bleeding, the school informed her parents and her dad came to pick her up, that was not the way she planned her coming back, she wanted to come back as good as she left no negative change to give her mom bragging right, she could barely stand , her mom had to help her get down from the car.
Mr and Mrs Wills had taken their girl to every hospital around but none could really tell why her wound was not healing, it kept bleeding, so Eleanor was losing blood , medication on medication she kept using but no avail, soon enough the change in her mind that Eleanor didn't want to show started with her looking thinner, she would barely see and her shoulder had started decaying, her parents had asked several times what happened at school but the trust was that Elea remembered nothing, oh she remembered the cut from the tree and the hand on her shoulder but that was all.
One morning, the door rang and in came liz , she introduced herself to Mrs Wills, who then allowed her inside to see Elea, Liz would not believe her eyes, Elea has changed so much, she look too skinny Liz did not know humans can get that skinny . Elea felt a presence in the room, so she opened her eyes and saw Liz.
"Hello Lea"
That all Liz could say without crying, but she failed because the tears fell, she felt bad, if she had handled the situation better, Elea would have never left the hostel that night.
"am so sorry Lea its all my fault I should have been careful, but after you left the school I looked into what you where saying, you were right in a way, am so so sorry"
Liz sat beside Elea, her last sentence had gotten Eleanor attention, with all the strength she could find , she said
"w...w....wh...what did y......y.....you fi.......find"
Before she could continue, she started coughing, Liz got up immediately and poured water from the jug on the table to the cup , she raised Elea a little but upright and gave her the water.
" I looked into the school history, and I found that long ago, In the early years of the school, a tree existed at the back of the library but some unexplainable event began occurring in the school with the tree at the center of it all, so the school cut it down but that was physically, spiritually the tree still exist and still collect victims, the only thing I still don't know is
