I witnessed a strange phenomenon when I was young, and even now, I am unable to provide an explanation for it. I vividly recall that I was around ten years old when, one day after lunch, I realized that I didn't have a watch and had no idea what time it was. Our family resided in the northernmost area of the village, and the big river was located approximately one thousand meters away from our home. The river, which was about ten meters wide, flowed throughout the year. On that particular day, while I was playing alone by the river, a sudden whirlwind emerged on the opposite side of the river. To my surprise, there was a black ball in the middle of the river, approximately 50 cm in diameter, rolling along with the whirlwind. After spinning for over ten minutes with the whirlwind, it vanished by the river, and so did the black ball. At that time, I assumed that someone's hat had been blown away by the whirlwind. However, upon reflection, I am sure that the whirlwind was not a hat, but I am uncertain what it could have been. Please don't blame me!
