chapter 01

AUTHOR'S POV~~

Thunders striked, they could easily scare anyone but they abnormally calmed her heart. She loves loved the sound of rain and clam it brought to her heart. She liked the cool winds the rain brought with it but the calmness in heart was broken when.

A shrilled and high pitched voice shouted-"Krishika,Krishika,where are you?Come down immediately.

She ran down immediately as she was afraid of her Chachi's scolding and the punishment that came with it.

When she reached downstairs her chachi was standing there with a furious face.

she said-"what were you doing, why weren't you listening,have you gone deaf ?This girl is just of no use.Now go and make dinner today Shikha is coming home after many days and Aryan will be also be coming with her.

At the mention of Aryan,she remembered the night almost one year ago how Aryan,her long time crush proposed shikha she remembered how she had showed her a mocking smile on her misery as she knew she had a crush on Aryan.

She knew her sister was only using him for her benefits but what could she do.She had liked him for his helping nature whenever he used to come to Shikha he would always help her in her studies and even save her from her chachi's scolding and beatings but alas he only saw her as a sister but what could she do to stop her teen self to have a crush on him.

Now after almost after one year she was long over that stupid crush of her's and only saw him as a brother.It was just mere attraction she had towards him.

So,it was not that hard to dissolve.

She sighed and walked to the kitchen to make dinner she made Paneer butter masala,dal makhni,jeera rice,raita and chapati then she made some pasta and salad for Shikha and Simran as they would not eat this food.

She looked at clock and saw it was almost 8pm means they would be coming anytime by now.

At the same time the doorbell rang her chachi opened the door.

Shikha came in and hugged her mother.

she said-"Mom,I missed you" with excitement.

Aryan came along with her and also hugged Malini.

Aryan said-"Hii aunty,how are you?

"I am fine beta,you came after many days"said Malini.

" I was just a little busy" replied Aryan.

Aryan waved at her and with a smile said- "hii", she also said-"hii",she didn't feel anything for him.

"Now come in and have dinner" her chachi said.

Shikha first met Simran then her father who came from office they all were settled at dining table except for Krishika as she was one bringing food and serving everyone as her chachi never let her have food with them.

she would only let her have dinner when she cleaned all the kitchen and washed the dishes,she was used to it.

When she was about to serve Aryan,Shikha snatched the bowl and served Aryan with a smile.

She walked and entered the kitchen to bring other food items.

She heard Aryan say-"Aunty the food is very delicious".

"Is it?I made it specially for you"said Malini.

The dinner was over with little talks and laughs,after serving she walked to her room which was the extra room where the extra items or low usage things were kept.

she walked to kitchen after Aryan had gone back to his house and all other members had gone to their rooms.

First she washed dishes,then cleaned the kitchen.At last she had her food which was not left much.
