SWIMMING TEAM

CHARLIE POV

Today there would be the selections for the swimming team,
I was a little scared I had never participated in a competition and not less important I would see Thoon again, since he was the captain of the team will be for sure there

Lately I was thinking about him a little too much especially after his apology, I had glimpsed a tender part of him and I liked that. I arrived in the locker room I felt a little uncomfortable I wasn't used to showing myself in public I usually swam alone in the pool.

I was changing when Thoon came in, I saw him looking at me with surprise but he didn't make any comment, he just looked at me From top to foot it was as if I felt his gaze caressing my skin, I had the swimsuit but it's as if I had been naked and I had chills ...
and not because of cold!

I tried at that moment to hide as much as possible and ended up fixing my things.

When we were all ready the coach gathered us by the pool to wish us good luck we were 15 but only six would have joined the team , they divided us into two groups.

When it was my turn I deeply inhaled I was at the starting blocks now it was just me and the water!

When they started I dived without thinking about anything only me against everyone as well as in life

[ if that day at the lake I had been the person I'm now maybe Charline would be with me now ]

I accelerated ,
faster and faster trying to overcome my limits like every time.

I touched the finish line, I raised my head towards the coach waiting to know if I had made it.
Coming out of the pool I noticed that everyone was looking at me a little surprised...
I was not understanding their gaze

The Coach finally said:
" Charlie? Is that your name? You've been amazing!!! are you sure you've never participated in any competition? You broke our captain's record "

And everyone turned to Thoon they seemed intimidated maybe they thought he was going to kill me.

Thoon approached me

"Good job , you're fast I see "

I saw that everyone relaxed and complimented me too.

After the shower I was coming out of the locker room when I collided
(again)
with Thoon

"Sorry"

"Don't worry...it's my fault too" - he said
"wait for me outside the university when your classes are done , we'll hang out for a coffee to celebrate your inclusion in the team" and Thoon left .........

I invited Charlie for a coffee!
In the days that I didn't see him
I thought a lot about him
I asked myself a lot of questions and the only possible answer is that I'm attracted to him .
I couldn't do anything about it, the physical attraction is very strong but what scared me the most was that I wanted to meet him to find out.

When I saw him today at the selections I couldn't take my eyes off him, he was perfect as a Greek God, I didn't care if he had beaten my record ....
I was happy and I don't know why ... and when he came out of the water I lingered for a long time on his abs on which glistening drops of water slipped on his milky white skin ...
