The 7am alarm clock rang again from my bedside table, snoozed who knows how many times. The constant buzzing of my nerves erupted in my stomach for the third time this morning, pull yourself together MC. It can't be that bad.

I'd moved a lot of times before, and changing schools had never been too much of a problem for me, but somehow this time it felt a bit off. This town was a big one, a very big one, and so was the new school. I think it was called the Royal Academy of... something with a D. Apparently I could just call it RAD. An odd name, but that was not the problem.

It was always going to be a little bit scary to go to a whole new place with a whole new bunch of new people, but strangely enough I was a lot more nervous than I usually was.

I groaned into my sheets in frustration as I tossed and turned in my blankets, burying my face in my pillows.

Why did I have to have so many butterflies in my stomach all of a sudden?

A few minutes later I heard a soft knock on my door, it creaked open and I heard my driver's voice as he opened it.

"MC...? please don't be late, you've got an impression to make and lateness won't cut it".

"yeah, I'll be there"

I rolled out of my covers and quickly made it to my bathroom, freshening up as best I could, if I was going to show up I might as well do it right.

The uniform was quite formal, white collared shirt, very dark red blazer with black lining, matching tie, black belt and black skirt/trousers (whatever you prefer).

I tightened my tie and pulled my blazer over my shoulders, spraying myself with a little perfume as I went. I stepped in front of the mirror to fix any loose ends, brushed my hair and grabbed my bag, there wasn't really anything in it except my lunch money, but I didn't have a choice so I took it, I also grabbed my bottle and my coat and piled them all up in my arms, I headed downstairs to see breakfast waiting for me.

I hurriedly gulped down my breakfast and raced to the door, and as soon as I was settled into the soft, leathery back seat of my car, I let out a sigh of relief.

"Phew, that was close," I murmured to no one in particular.

"You're already late, MC," my driver grumbled impatiently.

"I'm trying!" I shot back.

As soon as the car started moving, the nerves hit me again. I had a bad feeling about this...
