Prologue - Captives in a new world

What has life been like these past years? There's a good way to explain them. Despair. I have a connection to someone, another Ultimate just like me. And because they were part of that class I am forced to be here...I don't blame her but it's hard to be positive in this situation. Right I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Ryuusuke Takeda, I prefer the name Ryu though.

Two years ago the worst event of all of humanity happened. It was known as the end. I was kidnapped by masked strangers and forced into a room where I had to stay for months upon months. Until finally a TV screen, it showed me why I was here and...what happened to Yui. She's dead. Thanks to the work of Aozora Kenichi, 8 lives excluding his own were lost. After more time in isolation I was taken on a transport boat and my last memory until this point was gas and now I am here

Ryu: a beach?

It was strange that's for sure, I was on a beach and why exactly? Maybe after Aozora's death my captives felt they should put me somewhere safer? Well I can't be too sure...what matters is figure out what is going on

Based on the sounds, that's a girl's voice but hang on did she say situation? Could it be...
