"I'm a fusion" (Garnet x Reader) pt. 2

I'm a fusion. " Garnet said in a monotone voice. It went dead silent. The atmosphere was now filled with tension and the sky began to darken as if a storm was coming.

"What? "(Name) asked,looking at Garnet straight in the eyes. A thunder was heard at the exact time when they spoke. Garnet began to get more nervous. " I said that I'm a fusion. "Garnet replied. " Garnet, why would you keep such a secret from me, aren't I trust worthy? "(Name) asked. " You are. " Garnet replied sounding nervous.

This was very unlikely of her, normally she was monotonous . But this, this was completely new. And before (Name) could react Garnet had already unfused. In front of (Name) now stood a Sapphire and a Ruby. The Ruby was sweating bullets and breathing heavily. The Sapphire was trying to get the Ruby to calm down.

"Ruby calm down, it's going to be fine. " The Sapphire said in a panicked voice trying to reassure the Ruby that everything was gonna be fine.

"Mhmm." (Name) cleared their throat. Which made both the Sapphire and the Ruby look at them. As soon as the Ruby saw them it bowed with its hands together and it started to apologize.

"We are really sorry that we kept this a secret from you, we wanted to tell you the truth but we were too afraid and nervous about how you were going to react, we are really really sorry and please don't break up with us. " The Ruby said in a rather quick pase. "I'm not going to break up with you. " (Name) said in a calm voice. "You aren't? " The Ruby asked as it shot its head up to look at them. "Of course I'm not. " (Name) said with a smile on their face. The Ruby rushed into their arms giving them a quick hug. It then rushed back to the Sapphire.

"sapphire you were right. " The Ruby said with excitement in its voice as it picked the Sapphire up . The Ruby began to twirl around with the Sapphire. Their laughter could be heard as their bodies began to change into light merging together. After that Garnet was once again standing in front of (Name) but this time her glasses weren't covering her eyes.

Garnet then picked up (Name) while laughing and threw them into the air, they then embraced (Name) in a hug after catching them. (Name) was also laughing because of the adrenaline of getting thrown into the air. Garnet set (Name) down. The once dark cloudy sky was now just a night sky revealing many stars.

"Why are you so happy? " (Name) asked. "You're not mad at me. " Garnet replied with a smile on her face. "Well obviously I'm not mad at you. Listen I understand that fusion is a very secretary thing to gems. It's okay to keep some secrets from each other. I don't want you to feel forced to tell me every thing about yourself, I know that others have boundaries and things that they don't want other individuals to know and it's okay. "(name) said while holding Garnet's hands. " But (Name) I never wanted to keep this a secret from you, I was just too conflicted about how you would react. "Garnet said with a worried look on her face. (Name) looked at Garnet straight in the eyes smiling. They then gave Garnet a quick peck on the lips. " Thank you for your understanding (name). " Garnet said.

"Tag." And with that (name) started running away from Garnet so that they wouldn't get tagged.
