Hand in hand. Two blue large hands holding eachother carefully but with an affectionate passion.

Miles laid on his back, using a long log to support his head, aswell as his free blue hand beneath his shaved hair for comfort. I laid on my side, head rested comfortably against his bare chest. His fith finger rubs circles over my knuckles repeatedly, calmly. I've got a smile on my face, not a playful one, not a smug one. But an affectionate smile. Knowing I've found the one.

"So, do you want to come with me?" Miles asks softly. His tone was quiet incase of rejection. I tilt my head up to look at him. My smile widening. "I want to go everywhere you are." I reply, in the same soft tone he has. His fangs glint in the rising sun as he grins victoriously. "Well, we should get going then." Miles suggests, sitting up and nudging me.

With a slow movement I take our Tsaheylu and carefully detatch them with care. Bringing Miles' braid to my lips and kissing it gently. He smiles at me once more, that affectionate smile. After a few kisses we start collecting ourselves.

I reattach my chestpiece and adjust my loin cloth. Miles adjusts himself swiftly before taking my hand. We wander from the Tree of Souls too his Ikran. Cupcake, hes named it. I slip my bow from Cupcakes wing and tighten it around my torso. Miles positions himself utop of Cupcake and helps me up. And with a loud whoop, we start into the air.

We go high up first, above the clouds. My hand glides through the untouchable clouds. It was a beautiful view, and one I was familiar with. We take a slight detour towards my home.

Just as we're circling slowly, fluently, above my hometree I start imitating a bird call. Doing it as loudly as I could. Almost instantly theres a reply of an excited screech. The leaves of the large tree disturb violently as Stri'Wey shoots up. I laugh at the familiar sight. I take Miles' hand as I stand on Cupcakes' back. Then with a whoop I leap off.

Stri'Wey hovers below us as she catches me in my saddle. One hand instantly connects Tshaheylu and the other goes to rub her neck in excited affection. She coos and calls at the excitement coursing through her.

After the detour we start the trip back too Miles' home. I don't know where it was, but he said he'll tell me when we get there.

My plan before we mated was to drop him off at the spot I picked him up. But now we're bonded for life, I trust him with everything. I'm going to see his home! I'll probably meet his family and friends and his clan! If he has a clan that is. I remember his five fingers and five toes. He was still, after all, not a true Native. But that didn't change my view of him, I still care for him with my life.

We fly side by side. My bow was tight around my chest, creating a little white line at the tension. Miles looks over at me every few moments, just to make sure I'm still here and with him. "We're getting closer." Miles states loudly over the wind. My excitement grows, but something seems off. Something is definately off.

After a few minutes Miles gestures too a bundle of trees. After circling them we land inbetween the branches. Beside eachother. Miles steps off Cupcake, disconnecting Tshahaylu, and stands the large branch we're perched on. I do the same and stand beside him. Miles holds his hand out. I take it as he drags me closer, his free hand taking ahold of my waist. I place my free hand on his shoulder as our chests press against eachother.

"I need you to promise me something." He whispers against my ear. His head was leaning against my shoulder. I move back slightly, taking his head in both hands. "Anything." I reply. My large fingers dancing over his cheekbones. The bioluminescent dots over his face created a portrait of beauty. His beauty. "That you won't leave." He states, pressing his hands over mine.

My head instinctively tilts in confusion. My ears flicking back for a second as my tail swishes lowly. Does he think I'll leave? "I promise you, Ma Miles, I promise I will never leave." I state confidently. Pressing my forehead against his softly.

He sighs deeply in relief.

"Why are you saying this?" I ask eventually, moving back again. Miles doesn't reply, after a few seconds at the loss of contact he opens his bright yellow eyes. How much beauty were in those piercing, golden, yellow eyes. He was a picture of pure beauty. "Because you do not know where I'm from." He mutters, looking away almost ashamed. "And I don't want you to leave because of it."

I chuckle softly to myself. "I will never leave you." A smile graces Miles' lips. His ears start perking up. He looks over the edge of the branch. Just as I'm about to get back on Stri'Wey Miles takes my arm. I turn my head sharply. "Its not that far, come with me." He says softly. My gaze softens as I nod. Miles sits up on Cupcake as I adjust myself behind him.

Stri'Wey tilts her head at us. Almost knowing whats going on between us. She chirps confused though. "Calm, Stri'Wey, I'll be back soon." I soothe calmly. She adjusts herself on the branch comfortably. Miles watches me as I give him a short nod.

Miles connects Tshahaylu and we start flying from the tree. Into the air and gliding peacefully across the sky. "Just behind this mountain." Miles states proudly. I grin back at him as I press a kiss too his bare shoulder. I look around at the surroundings. Feeling familiar.

My stomach drops suddenly. I knew something was wrong. "Let me off." I mumble. Miles turns his head confused. My ears start lowering. "I said let me off!" I yelp. Quickly Miles lands his Ikran. We were on the corner of the mountain. I could see his home.

Hell's Gate.

Where SkyPeople had killed a part of Eywa mercilessly. They took it as their part of land and they were spreading. Killing everything in their path.

Hurrily I move off of Cupcake. Taking multiple steps away from my mate as he steps off. He gives me a confused look. "Whats wrong?" He asks, concern lacing his tone. I keep backing away. "That is your home?" I ask, feeling a lump in my throat. Miles looks back at the base then turns back to me. Finally realising whats going through my head.

We don't say anything as the wind wisps up. We just stare at eachother. "I can't.." I start but stop as my eyes widen. SkyPeople in large machines has started towards us. Their machines, helicopters, start circling us. We were still so far. But they noticed us.

Miles glances at the SkyPeople in their machines then looks at me. Moving forward as I back away. He catches up quickly. Taking my arm in his grip as I struggle. "You promised you wouldn't leave me." He states over the noise of the machines advancing on us. I promised. Feeling tears spite my eyes, threatening to fall. Miles' grip softens.

I know I can't go back now, the skypersons are caging us in.

Miles turns to look at them. After a few seconds he releases my arm and turns his back to me. He was talking with one of them but I didn't listen. My head is lowered as I stare at my hands. My large, blue with white stripes, four-fingered hands. They felt dirty, but yet looked clean.

"Come on darlin', lets go." Miles states, holding my forearm with his five-fingered hand and urging me to follow him and the skypersons. I feel tears blurring my vision, but I wipe them away. I wanted to run, I wanted to sprint to Stri'Wey and take Miles with me and we would fly away far from here.

But.

I promised Miles I would stay with him.
