it had a been a tiring day to say the least. all the lamps and candles in your bedroom turned off, the stress of the day, blown away with the light. darkness engulfed the two of you, and the only way you could make out helena's features was the slither of moonlight flowing through the window.

"i dream of you. all i do is dream of you." she whispered, her breath ghosting over your lips. lying on your sides facing each other in the middle of your bed, time seemed to come to a halt. and it that moment it was only the two of you. "i can't seem to get away from you," she chuckled gently, not once letting her eyes stray from your own.

for some people, sleep is an escape. a sweet sanctuary where they can drift away, forgetting the troubles of real life. for helena, sleep is exactly that. she loves sleep. anyone that has ever met her will tell you, that any chance she has she will fall asleep. any place any time, helena will probably be asleep. when you were both plastered one night, she even confessed to falling asleep in a wheelbarrow once.

some people will assume that she is lazy because of her love of sleep. wasting her life away dreaming, while she could be out in the world doing anything and everything she wished. but what they don't understand, is that she doesn't sleep because she's tired, or because she has nothing better to do. she sleeps because in her dreams she is always with y/n. y/n and her long flowing hair. y/n and her beautiful blue eyes. y/n and her smile. the smile that helena has come to love.

"you've woven you way into my head, and i can't for the life of me, get you out," she smiled, pushing a piece of hair behind your ear with the amount of care you'd show a newborn child.

"you're constantly in my head, and honestly i don't think i want you to leave."
