chapter three...
COMMANDO APP!

⚛︎

𝖳𝖧𝖤 𝖣𝖠𝖸 Adam, Bree, and Chase Davenport have all been waiting for have arrived, and that was the one thing Max Romero hated more than anything she'd ever attended in her life; the three superhuman bionic siblings were starting high school. And the emo teen couldn't be any more sadder due to her personality trait, such as having no respect for authorities directing her future of becoming a storyteller.

So, that means the two normal figures they befriended would be a part of their daily schedule of the work they would get done since the five teenagers were assigned to be in all the same classes thanks to Donald Davenport's effort in making sure that it would happen — meaning he practically wrote a check, which always works when those are in need of cash.

"Okay, guys, you have been trained for all kinds of missions, but you are about to enter a soul bruising, confidence-crushing, apocalyptical environment... High School." the billionaire genius explained, knowing that Max would definitely agree to his words about the doom that is known to be education.

"Finally speakin' my language, Donny." the Latina pats Donald's shoulder as he scoffs at the nickname he's only heard from Eddy the smart-home system for half his lifetime.

"Anyways... Adam, Bree, your glitch test results are fairly stable," he states towards the two of the bionics, making their faces light up with excitement.

"Yes, I'm going to high school." the light-haired brunette happily expresses and wraps her arms around Max's waist.

However, as much as Max slightly enjoyed the physical contact for her girl-best-friend's happiness at getting a normal teenage life, (especially when she owns a scientific ability). "Uh, B?" the Romero gestures her to let go, which she instantly did.

   "Right, sorry. Boundaries..."

Donald feels proud that two out of the three teens were capable enough to not expose themselves as super-powered 'freaks,' he looks towards Chase. "But, Chase, I am still concerned about your Commando App."

Leo Dooley narrows his eyebrows at the strange word. "Commando App?" he questioned. "Put on some underpants we're going to school."

"Yeah." Max agrees, but is still confused. "Uh, what exactly is 'Commando App?'" she asks, feeling the need for another fact to add to the learning list about their bionic friends.

Donald moves towards the bionic nerd, and grips his shoulders. "In the face of imminent threat, Chase's Commando App kicks in, and he becomes a fearless brute I like to call 'Spike.'" he explained the first part about this new feature the two regular teens would learn. "See, it's kind of like a fight of flight thing. Expect I told out the flight part cause, — useless —. And I replaced it with the testosterone level of like a, a Tasmanian devil Wolverine, shark-lion hybrid... that's mad!" and the moment he extended the answer, this made May massage her temples, groaning slightly.

"Ugh, you know how much I hate it when you use big words!" she complained, making the raven-haired man narrow his face at the girl's outburst.

"Oh, come on! It's not that hard to understand if you would at least listen!" he tells where a small smirk appears on his facial expression. "Actually, it's kind of funny watching you being hopelessly confused while I give my fantastic scientific lectures because that's how incredibly awesome I am!" and began praising himself once more.

Max rolls her eyes and waves her hand at how correct the Davenport man is until Chase decided to cut in on the small bickering. "Don't worry, Mr. Davenport, I promise that spike won't rear its ugly head." he declares.
