"You know what I love?" you looked at Magda with a smile, she sighed and raised her hand to her fourhead, massaging her temples with her fingers.
"Do you ever stop talking?" she semi joked. "Uhm. Yeah when I'm sleeping." you smirked and looked at her as she stood near the kitchen counter that had a toaster and a few other thing's on it, it was late and she was still up so you asked her to make you food, after twenty minutes of begging she realized you weren't going to stop until you got what you wanted.
"Anyways.. I love your cooking."
"Y/n.... this is toast. It's nothing special." you watched as the older woman took the two pieces of toast out of the toaster and threw them onto a silver plate.
"Well yeah but it's not like regular toast. Your toast is better than any toast I've ever ate!" you giggled and walked over to her, this was your favorite part to watch.
Magda grabbed a knife out of the drawer and sliced a piece of butter before lathering it all over the toast, after that she grabbed a bear shaped bottle with the word "honey" on it and smoothly drizzled it over everything.
You loved watching her cook, it gave you such a comfortable feeling, and the way the honey so smoothly came out of the bottle satisfied you.
"Here ya go, for the fourth time this week... your honey toast." she slid the plate over to you and you smiled in appreciation. "Thank you!" you quickly picked up a piece and devoured it within seconds.
"Oh my godddd Magda it's so good you don't even know. Take a bite." you quickly picked up the last piece and held it to her mouth. "I know what toast tastes like." she shook her head with a chuckle. "Suit yourself, more for me." you smirked and gobbled down the honey toast like it was your first meal in years.
"Can I have more...?" you smiled shyly.
"How about tomorrow, you don't need anymore sugar tonight." she chuckled and put her hand out on the counter, leaning against it as she made a winced face.
"Are you alright?" your face immediately turned concerned. "I'm fine, my hips are giving me fits again, that's all." she shook her head.
Magda had been complaining for weeks about how her hips hurt, it actually made you feel guilty since she had to be on her feet all the time and constantly had to work in the kitchen while she was in pain, you wished you could take away her pain.
"I'm sorry to hear that.." you sent her a small, guilty smile.
"Hey I have a question." you spoke again after a few seconds. Magda was old and wise, and the talk you had with your lady when you went on a walk outside of the castle has been eating away at your brain.
The cadou, you wanted to know about it. Not only just to learn more about your lady and the other lords but you wanted to know what it did exactly.
"Do you know what a... erm.. a cadou is?" you looked at Magda as you awkwardly rubbed the back of your neck with your right hand.
Her expression dropped slightly into a thinking face. "I don't believe that it's my place to tell you about it." she said after a moment of thought.
"Please...?" you sighed and looked at her with a pleading face, to which she laughed at and shook her head.
"You're close with Mother Miranda aren't you?"
You nodded.
"Go ask her about it."
"I don't want her to get upset with me... she's weird about certain things sometimes." you let out a long breath. "Lady Dimitrescu has quite the book selection.. why don't you look in the library?" she suggested, you perked up and looked at her with a smile.
