first day ☆

Today was the first day of seventh grade for the girl who had just come back from summer camp in North Carolina. She had spent the previous night picking out what to wear.

The girl had woken up by the sound of her alarm clock, and she started to get dressed in a pink crop top with baggy blue jeans that went along with a belt and a black jacket. As she was done getting dressed, she sprayed her favorite candy smelling perfume and fixed her hair.

At school

As I arrived at school, I saw a bunch of different people, there were the popular kids, the emos, furry, band kids etc. As I walked into school, there were a bunch of people looking at me, and it made me a little bit embarrassed. I walked to my home room looking at my schedule, I walked into a class. "Is this mr.O's class?" I asked a male teacher, "Yup, this is him. " "oh alright well this is my class, Is there a seating chart?" "No not yet sit wherever."Oh, alright then," I sat in the middle back. The bell rang around 6 minutes later, and a cute guy with dirty blonde hair sat next to me.

I heard two girls in front of me talking about a guy named Alex, "is he looking at me?" "No" she pulled her bra strap down. "How about now?" The other girl looked in my direction, I think they might have been talking about the boy next to me. "No, he's hitting brandt in the balls." she looked a little bit sad. "Oh well, he'll probably look at me later." "yeah" . I looked over at the boy who was indeed trying to hit the other guy in the balls. A few minutes had passed by, and the teacher was taking attendance,

"Anna kone?"

"Present"

"Brandt jackson"

Some guy yelled I guess to mock the other girl. The class started to laugh, but it wasn't all that funny

"Okay, cool guy,"

"Present

"Ishii oshi.. you're making me hungry," the teacher laughs at the little joke he made, making Maya smile.

"That's what it means, right?"

"Yeah, that's crazy how did you know that?" The girls said a little shocked.

"I spent a little time in Japan in my early 20s"

The teacher brought his attention back to the attendance sheet and looked at the last name on it

"Y/n l/n?"

"Here"

I said my voice a little quiet , but the guy sitting next to me looked at me, and so did the two girls from before

"Maya, alex is looking at the new girl?"

"I don't know. Hopefully, he doesn't like her,"
"Definitely not, Anna. I mean, look at her and look at you. You're gorgeous. "
"Omg, no, you're gorgeous, mayaaa," she said, dragging out the a in the girl's name. I turned to the guy who was next to me only to find him already looking at me, I blushed a little "hi" I said while Waving my hand a bit but stopping after because I looked stupid. He looked at me like he didn't care and gave me a weird look, but said hi none the less.
'Jerk'.. I thought to myself, I can't stand the popular guys, and if he doesn't like me, why does he keep staring at me. Whatever I thought, The teacher had given us our locker numbers before the bell had rung.

A little after the bell rang, signaling 1st period was over. As I walked out of the classroom, there were papers all over the lockers that said 'dustin lives maya' 'brandt loves maya.' The two girls came out of the classroom, and anna said, 'omg maya! The two most popular guys in school like you! Do? Do you know what that means?" " No? Wait.. omg does that mean I'm a popular girl??" "Yes!!!" Said the other girl

I decided to ignore whatever was going on and looked at my schedule, seeing that my next class is p.e, well, hopefully there aren't any uniforms.

I arrived in the locker rooms only to find out we do infact have uniforms

" Okay, so Heather likes my haircut brandt thinks I'm fine and dustin think I'm fine, wait is there another maya?" "Uh, I don't think so?" "Okay okay good"

The coach walks over and starts yelling at the girls. "You three think you can talk over me?" Maya and Anna look at me. "Actually, she's not with us." "Whatever, I got my eyes on you three."
The two girls got up and walked away, and I also did shorty after, I heard Anna say, "Why did coach think she was with us?" "idk! I don't think we would ever hang around her, " I scoffed and said,"You guys know I'm right here?" They both turned around and looked embarrassed.

I sat down on the bleachers, not wanting to play kickball, then I saw the brand walk over and sat pretty close to me

"Yeah, but dustin is fine."Yeah, his earring is pretty hot, " said anna
"And then there's him," Anna said while she looked at alex it looked like her world had stopped momentarily

Brandt looked at me, and I looked back, giving him a smile. "Sup."Hey?"So you're the new girl?" "Not really, I came here last year, you don't remember?"No, not really."Oh, really," ".. aight," "cool.." The coach called my name and told me it was my turn to play. I got up from talking to brandt and stood in front of the alex guy. He threw the ball, and I kicked it, hitting him straight in the nose. "Bullseye!" I yelled as i raised my arms in victory. The coach gave me a weird look before i put my hands down givign her q nervous smile. "Man down everybody, sit down, and you go take your victim to the nurse." I walked over to alex and helped him up.

Nurses

We were both sitting on a chair. He was holding his ice pack in his hands.
"I'm really, really, really sorry,"
"It's chill, a pretty girl like you can hit me any day." I blushed a little bit and looked away. "So aren't you in my home room?"Yeah, I sit right next to you, actually," "Oh, I should start talking to you more then."
I looked away, "So what's up with that guy brandt and dustin? I heard they like maya. " "No, they were messing with her its pretty funny. "
