i woke up to my phone being spammed, in all honesty, i thought my phone was about to blow up.
turns out i forgot to mute the group chat.

Tendou: semi semi!!! TELL US HOW IT WENT FOR CHRIST SAKE

Semi: it's none of ur business tendou

Yamagata: yes it's mine considering u took out my best friend !!! on a date!!!

Semi: shirabu i see ur online pls help

Me: absolutely not, ur on ur own. i've got school bye

i shut off my phone, the vibrating noise still going off, but i decide to just ignore it.
monday. me and semi actually hadn't spoken much of sunday at all, which i thought was pretty weird, considering we did literally go on a date. but maybe i'm looking to deep into it, does a date really mean that much? i mean who am i to decide whether he's in love with me or not?

i get changed quickly, and leave the house. i usually don't have breakfast anyway.
as i was walking, i was reminded of the dance by the posters around me. i'm going with semi?! would that be awkward ?

i got to school, to see taichi waving at me.
"hey man, you alright?"
"yeah." i replied. i realised i was kind of blunt, but it doesn't matter.

walking into class, all i could think about was the date with semi. am i starting to fall for him? shit, the dance. what if it's really awkward.
should i text him?

Me: hey, u in class rn?

Semi: yepp

Me: same ffs i cba

Semi: i meannnn, we could skip. i can meet you at the park

skip? i've never done that. ever. i don't even think i've skipped a day of school before because i was sick. in all honesty, i really didn't want to skip.

my head was screaming at me to go

Me: sure, 10:00

Semi: kk, it's a date;)

Me: wtv

ok. so now i'm skipping class for the first time ever. am i going to get caught?
what if i get into trouble?
"dude, what's up you look like you saw a ghost" yamagata scared me.
"oh.. uh yeah i'm okay. hey listen, have you ever skipped before?"
"oh absolutely"
"did you get caught"
"uhhh once but that was because they saw me outside the school aha, why? you planning on going?"
"well.. kinda. semi asked if he wanted to skip to meet at the park"
"oh my god!! YES! gogogo you need to say yes"
"calm down!! i already did, i'm just nervous"!
"if they ask, i'll say you went to a doctors appointment , okay?"
"ok thanks"
that did actually calm my nerves a little bit. i looked at the clock, 9:40, 5 more minutes until class ends. and then, i'll leave.

holy shit i did it.
walking towards the park, i felt like i was breaking so many rules, plus, i was going to meet semi, which was making me nervous.
i've seen him enough times to not be nervous, but for some reason i always am.
"hey!" i heard a voice scream out. a familiar voice.
i looked up to the park to see semi waving at me.
"oh hey, i hope i didn't make you wait too long"
"oh no don't worry about it" he smiled , gently. i find comfort in his smile. all my worries about getting caught suddenly left my head - leaving my head empty.
"oh i got here early , so i got you some chocolate from the shop, nothing special"
he handed me a small chocolate bar, packaged in a pretty pink plastic covered in hearts.
"whay the fuck is this" i questioned.
"it's valentines chocolates ! it was on sale- probably because it's nowhere near valentines so you know."
"oh so now ur being cheap on me?" i giggled.
"well, i don't know if you deserve my kindness jusy yet, and judging from that response- i don't think you ever will"
we both laughed at each others poor attempt to argue.
"by the way shirababy" semi stated, while sitting on a bench near by. "you look nice in your uniform"
i looked away so he wouldn't clearly see me blushing, i just replied with a quiet "shut up" to which he found amusing.
"you don't look too bad yourself you know" i mean, don't get me wrong he was a very messy person. not wearing his tie at all and his shirt barely being tucked in, but for some reason that only attracted me more.
"oh? aren't you a darling"

"oh shut up just take the compliment"
"but why? when it's so much more fun to make you blush"
"are you sadistic? why do you like to see my suffer"
