"Soooo Shirabu, what do you think of semisemi??"

"Huh? He's alright."

All my friends have started to tease me about semi, which confused me. We never really talked about him before, so why now? What changed? 

We agreed to meet up on Saturday,again, but I was worried. What if my friends continue to tease me about him? That would make him uncomfortable..I don't want him to feel that way. But I have no idea how to stop them. 

I wonder what even started it...

My last class is math, which I actually find interesting, unlike everyone else. I did really well in that subject and i always get good grades. 

Taichi, on the other hand, doesn't. He sits next to me and throughout the whole lesson it's just him poking me and asking for answers. He even does it in a test, and surprisingly we never get caught..yet. 

But today was different. We had a pop quiz.

"psst, Shirabu, what the hell in number 6?"

I looked at him,then at my paper, then back at him. "87" I replied and going back to my paper. The teacher didn't say anything at first but then at the end of class she made us stay.

"You boys, I saw you exchanging answers" I didn't say anything. All I could think about whether she was going to give us a detention, which i've never had. So you could guess that I was literally shaking.

"I'm not going to give you a detention..."

Phew.

"But I need a favour from you"

Shit.

"We are going to have a school dance soon,and we have made posters for the occasion. So i'd like you boys to hang them up around school"

Oh, that wasn't that bad. But since when did we do school dances? Me and Taichi both agreed and grabbed the posters. "School dance huh? Oh look it says we can bring people out of school..maybe we can ask Tendou's group to join" 

"Yeah sounds good"

I got to the wall and put up my first poster, i looked down at the papers to realise how many there actually were. There were so.fucking.many. I just wanted to go home but instead i'm wasting my time on this. 

I continued putting up the second poster on another wall, the third poster on the other and so on. I hadn't seen Taichi in a while so I guess he went the other way, but that meant I was lonely.    I sat down on the floor, placed the stack next to me and grabbed my phone from my pocket. I might as well check my messages.

Yamagata: hey have yall heard from shirabu and taichi?

Goshiki: yeah me and yamagata cant find them, we are supposed to walk together

Tendou: huh? no i havent. he doesnt message me anyway so that really isnt much help

Semi: yeah neither 

Ushijima: Same here.

Me: we're fine. we just got in trouble and the teacher is making us put up the posters for the school dance we are having.

Yamagata: what??? since when did we have a school dance? and since when did u ever get in trouble?

Me: yeah, i guess they are starting it this year. You are allowed to bring people outside from our school too. 

Goshiki: OMGGG WE CAN BRING YOU GUYS

Tendou: WOOOOOOO

Semi: oh wow, do you need dates? or can you go in as friends

Tendou: why do you ask semisemi;)

Yamagata: yeahhh semisemi... why u wanna know

Semi: oh ffs im just wondering

Me: you need to have a date.

Tendou:  we can just pair up and pretend we are coming in as dates then meet up!

Tendou: well.....you don't need to pretend. iykyk

Ushijima: Great idea tendou, but we are an odd number

Goshiki: its cool, im bringing my boyfriend

Tendou: HUH?? SINCE WHEN DID U HAVE A BOYFRIEND

Goshiki: since like..last year? 

Semi: who?

Goshiki: koganegawa, he's the first year setter for date tech

Tendou: ohhh i know him!!!!!!!!

Goshiki: yeahhh

Ushijima: ok so now an even number, what are the pairs?

Tendou: hehe glad you asked... me n you

Ushijima: ok

Tendou: so dry bleh, Yamagata and Taichi

Yamagata: chill

Tendou: and of course semi and shirabu!!!;))))

Me: okk

Semi: sounds cool

Tendou: oh i bet it does

Semi: wtf

Yamagata: LMAOO

Me: gtg i need to continue this poster thing.
