Frisk had always been a bit of a loner, when they fell the would always flee from monsters. They met Toriel, and while they put trust in her, they ended up fleeing from the ruins in the end. content to wander through the Underground on their own, they hug Toriel and say goodbye.

Apon leaving the ruins, they seem to have been followed?

When they follow him, you go through the bars into a slightly bigger area. There is a useless lamp for some reason, and a Sentry station.
He made frisk stand behind the lamp. (Huh? Guess it was useful.) When his brother (papyrus?) leaves, frisk comes out and he asks them to go through papyrus' puzzles
Frisk goes through 8 puzzles.. Well... More like 6.

the two skeleton brothers had taken it upon themselves to befriend and protect the human.
At first, Frisk was wary of the skeletons, unsure if they could be trusted. But as they spent more time together, Frisk came to realize that Sans and Papyrus were more than just friendly faces. They were a family.
With frisk claiming these monsters as they're brothers, monsters saw this human wasnt a threat, and eventually, frisk has gotten a chance to speak with asgore.

Frisk was determined to get everyone to the surface. And wasn't gonna let asgore dreemur, the king, a friend, get in their way.
Frisk wanted they're new siblings to live free and happy on the surface. All their friends.
Asgore was scared of the surface.
A"i know you want to go back home to the surface, human. But, what will the other humans do to us when we make it? What if a new war is started? We are all killed? Hunted? Erased? What if humans flee from us? Never allow us to interact? Like it has been? Will they send us back? Will it stay the same, but just on the surface? Is the surface safe? Is it a home?"
He could keep going. But frisk reassured him that it wouldnt be like that, they wouldnt let it happen.

Frisk had ment most monsters and was able to get them to the barrier when it was opened. But Toriel would be a little harder. She told them to not return, and never answered they're phone calls.
Frisk brought sans. They were friends through the door, maybe he could help?

All the monsters stepped out of the Underground and into the bright sunlight of the surface. Frisk took a deep breath, feeling the warm breeze on their face and the grass under their feet. They turned to Toriel, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.
T: "My child, are you sure this is the right decision? You don't know what kind of world awaits you up there."
Frisk smiled at Toriel and took her hand.
Sans chuckled and put his arm around Frisk's shoulder.
Papyrus stood tall, his chest puffed out with pride.
P: "with me, the great Papyrus, as your friend, nothing can stop us!"

As they walked towards the nearest town, Frisk couldn't help but feel grateful for the monsters who had become their family. They knew that the road ahead would be full of challenges,
Through it all, Frisk knew that they had found a home with Sans, papyrus, Toriel, and everyone else. The two brothers were always there for them, offering comfort and support whenever they needed it. They may have been an unlikely family, but they were a family nonetheless
