death and trauma

Amidst the darkness and the woe,
The shadowed memories start to flow,
Trauma haunts and grips the mind,
A cage of fear that's hard to unwind.

Death looms large, a constant threat,
An end that none can ever forget,
The fear that grips the human heart,
A dread that tears the mind apart.

But though the night may seem so long,
The way ahead is never really gone,
For hope still shines amidst the gloom,
A glimmer of light that breaks the tomb.

And as the journey takes its course,
Remember that you're not alone, of course,
For love and light and strength surround,
A force that never can be bound.

So let the fear and trauma fade,
In the warmth of love, it will abate,
And though death may knock on the door,
Your spirit will live forevermore.

For in the end, we're all just souls,
Bound by a thread that makes us whole,
Connected by a higher power,
That guides us through our darkest hour.

And though the road may be so hard,
And fear and doubt may leave us scarred,
We have the strength to rise once more,
And face the darkness as it pours.

So let us find our inner light,
And fight the fear with all our might,
For in this battle for the soul,
We have the power to take control.

And as we walk this path of life,
Let love and peace be our true guide,
And may the trauma, fear, and death,
Be just a shadow that we have left.
