Landry got the honor of watching as Rhaenyra mounted Syrax with her sister Alicent, Landry noticed that Alicent was more hesitant around the dragons but Landry, she loved them. She watched with a smile as Rhaenyra stepped off of Syrax and started to walk toward the carriage Landry and Alicent currently occupied. "Welcome back, Princess." Landry heard Ser Harrold Westerling say, Landry smiled slightly as she peeked around the door to watch Rhaenyra, after Rhaenyra placed the flower on Landry's ear, she began to get stronger feelings for the Princess, but this time she isn't telling anyone, it hurts that she can't even tell Alicent, her best friend, her sister.

"I trust your ride was pleasant." Ser Harrold Westerling states with a touch of amusement added to his voice. His comment brought Landry back to the present and out of her memories. "Try not to look too relieved, ser." Landry hid a laugh behind her hand before Alicent could see, however by the amused look Alicent sent her, she didn't do a very good job. "I am relieved, every time that golden beast brings you back unspoiled, it saves my head from a spike." Rhaenyra ignores Ser Harrold in favor of walking toward the carriage stairs. "Syrax is growing quickly." Alicent stepped down the stairs, Rhaenyra didn't offer her hand for Alicent but when Landry stepped into the doorway she held out her hand for Landry to take which she did. "She'll soon be as large as Caraxes." Rhaenyra smiled as she added to what Alicent said.

"That's almost large enough to saddle two." Rhaenyra glanced at Landry and gave her a slight smile, while behind Rhaenyra, Landry could see the way Alicent's eyes raised in curiosity as she watched their interaction. Landry placed her hands in front of her as she watched the Dragonkeeper Elder speak High Valyrian. "Dohaeras, Naejot!" The Dragonkeeper gestured to the cave, Syrax grumbled but obeyed tail swinging behind her as she walked towards the cave. "She's gorgeous," Landry muttered, she didn't mean for anyone to hear her but it seemed that because of their proximity to each other. "She is, since I was talking about her new saddle when she's old enough maybe you should ride with me." Landry pressed her lips together to try not to show her excitement, but she could feel a corner of her lip pulling up.

Landry looked down when she felt a brush of fingers against her hand, she watched as Rhaenyra interlocked her pinky with Landry's but as quick as it was there, it was gone. "Princess, are you ready to go back to the Red Keep?" Alicent asks making Landry jump away from Rhaenyra, she could feel her cheeks going pink from embarrassment. Alicent noticed this and raised an eyebrow which told Landry that she would be hearing about her behavior, hopefully from Alicent and not their father Otto.

"Yes, Landry why don't you go first?" Rhaenyra gestured her hand toward the carriage, Landry bowed at Rhaenyra the training that Otto instilled in the Hightower children coming back to her quickly. Landry allowed Rhaenyra to hold out her hand so Landry could step into the carriage, she licked her lips as she sat on the opposite side of where Rhaenyra sat. She wasn't Rhaenyra's lady in waiting but with how much she's hanging around Alicent and Rhaenyra she might as well be. Alicent's eyes lock with Landry's as she takes a seat next to her sister, Landry looks at Alicent nervously, afraid that Alicent is going to tell someone but she doesn't even meet Landry's eyes.

It makes her nervous but she keeps her hands resting in her lap and watches as Rhaenyra takes the seat opposite of them, the door is shut and they hear the slap of the reins before the journey starts. Landry turns so she's facing the window so she doesn't have to look at Alicent, it may not look like it but Landry knows that Alicent is as much under Otto's thumb as Landry is but since Alicent is older than Landry by only a little bit then Alicent has more pressuring her, politically and since Otto is the Hand of the King it's going to be a marriage out of politics, not out of love.

One that Landry hopes she can get out of but considering every man that Otto has introduced her to makes her want to throw up, it's a small possibility. Landry doesn't know how it is for Alicent as Landry hasn't brought up the whole Rhaenyra thing since that one time but she knows that if she could talk to anyone about it, it would be Alicent. Her thoughts drift towards Gwayne, he doesn't have the same expectations as Alicent and Landry do, because he's an Officer of the King's Landing Guard so as far as family duties go, Gwayne has done enough, Alicent and Landry on the other hand, haven't even got started yet.

Landry was poked in the leg by Alicent, she glared daggers at Alicent who nodded her head slightly towards Rhaenyra who looked amused as she watched the sisters interact. "I was wondering if you would like to continue being together unless you have other things to do. I don't have much today just my Mother would like to see me and a meeting with the council is today." Rhaenyra raised a white eyebrow at Landry like the Princess knew that Landry had nothing better to do, even if Landry did. She would drop anything to be around Rhaenyra. "Of course Princess, I would be honored." For a second it looked like Rhaenyra was about to protest being called her title but it died on her lips when the carriage came to a stop, which meant they made it back to the Red Keep.
