Stan's P.O.V

I smiled as I heard the voice on the other end of my phone.

"Hey Mom." I said. "It's been a while since we talked..."

She laughed. "Yes it has...and..." Her voice hinted a little sadness.

"And?"

"Oh Stan...I can't believe you're already 17!" I heard her cry a bit, then she sighed.

A thought hovered in my mind. Leave it to a mom to get all emotional...

"Yeah, I know. Time flies, huh?" I chuckled, and mom summoned a laugh.

"Well, ever since you moved into the dorm with your friend, I've felt lonely."

"But you have dad and Shelly."

She paused for a minute. "Yes, but I must admit Shelly is..." She lowered her voice. "Hard to tolerate at some times."

"I thought she got her headgear off a month ago..." I thought back to seeing pictures of her new smile.

"She did, but she had a breakup with a boy, she won't tell us who, and she's very..."

I finished the sentence for her. "Pissed off."

"Yeah."

"What about dad?"

"He's still here, but he sprained his ankle fixing a table leg."

I tried not to laugh. "How did he-"

Mom cut me off. "Don't ask. In fact, you can talk to him if you want."

I agreed and mom left to go get my dad. I could hear them in the background.

(Sharon) Randy! Stan wants to talk to you!

(Randy) Tell him I'm at the hospital.

(Sharon) Too late.

(Randy) Aw shit...

Then I heard some rustling and my father picked up the phone. "Hey son!" He said cheerily.

I crossed my arms. "Hey..."

He chuckled nervously, realizing I had heard him. "How are you?"

"I had a party yesterday, and I...kinda...have a hangover."

Dad laughed. "Good job!"

I smiled. "So, about your ankle..."

"Sprained it."

"With a table leg?"

He paused. "It's a long story..."

I shrugged. "That's okay. I have to go anyways..."

"Alright, talk to you later Stan."

"Bye dad. Tell mom I miss her." I hung up.

I put on my black sneakers and walked into the hallway of the boy's dorm. It was a mess...as usual. A lot of people were still sleeping, and the ones that weren't had already left. A few guys were just talking outside their rooms. One for example, being Craig, who was talking to Clyde about something.

I walked past them and ran down the stairs. I pulled out my phone and typed in Wendy's number, waiting for her to answer.

"Hey Stan, it's Bebe."

I groaned. "Where's Wendy?"

"She got in the shower 8 minutes ago."

"Okay...tell her to call me when she's out."

She agreed and I hung up. I walked outside and looked towards the school building. Thank god for the weekend...

I felt someone grab my shoulder, causing me to yell.

"Gotcha!" Said Kyle. I rubbed my shoulder and glared at him.

"That wasn't funny." I muttered, causing him to laugh.

He smiled. "Wanna go get breakfast?"

"You already got it, didn't you?" I said, thinking back.

"That was just an excuse to get out of there."

I shrugged. "Why not? But NO gluten."

He nodded, and we walked to the nearest Taco Bell. We just won't eat the tortillas.

A/N I'm still trying to figure out who's with who, and which people are room mates and all that stuff. I think someone won't have a room mate, but I need to work it all out. So far I've got Kyle and Stan, Wendy and Bebe, Clyde and Craig...but it might change. Thanks for reading!

P.S. I know dorms are a college thing, but it's easier this way X3
