Katie’s P.O.V.
"Morning, Mam." I skipped into the kitchen and kissed me Mam on the cheek.
"Good morning, sweetie." She smiled and poured me a cup of tea.
I thanked her and brought the mug of steaming tea over to the kitchen table. I sat down and happily sipped away.
"Something smells good." I commented, noticing the aroma of butter and sugar wafting through the air.
"I made pancakes, your favourite." She said, flipping two large pancakes onto a plate.
It warmed my heart to hear those words. Pancakes, mmm…
"You’re too good to me, Mam." I smiled gratefully, taking the plate of pancakes from her outstretched hand.
"Don’t I know it." She chuckled, taking a swig from her coffee. "Right, I’m off to work. I’ll be home at around 4." She picked up her car keys and kissed me on the forehead.
"Alright, have a good day." I replied, my mouth full of pancake.
She gave me one last goodbye before leaving the house.
Once I’d finished my breakfast (which was delicious, by the way), I left my plate in the sink and strolled into the living room.
What to do? I wondered. It was a Friday and I don’t work on Fridays, so normally I’d go out with my friends. But they’d ditched me today, so I guess I had to make my own entertainment.
I plopped myself down on the couch and flicked through the channels on the TV. Jeremy Kyle was on. Hallelujah!
Sinking further into the comfy, leather sofa; I watched the programme with amusement. Today was going to be great!
Niall’s P.O.V.
"Thank you, Dublin. You guys have been incredible!" I yelled at the audience, who screamed excitedly in response.
I loved performing in Ireland, something about it just felt right. I guess it’s true what people say; home is definitely where the heart is.
"Wow! I think this is the loudest crowd we’ve ever performed to!" Louis smiled enthusiastically, myself and the other lads nodded in agreement.
"What d’ya reckon boys, do we have time for one more song?" Liam teased the audience by pretending to check the time on his wrist.
"Hmm.. What do you guys think?" Zayn asked the crowd.
They cheered loudly, we took that as a yes.
The beat to What Makes You Beautiful began playing as we took our positions on stage.
"You’re insecure, don’t know what for-" Liam’s voice sounded through the arena "-you’re turning heads when you walk through the door-or-or."
The screaming fans went crazy for the song; it was such an overwhelming experience. All around us were banners and posters and thousands of girls cheering our names.
Sorry to state the obvious, but I freakin’ love my job.
