Liam's P.O.V.
"We're out of milk!" I shouted to no one in particular, although I should've known that Louis would be the one to respond.
"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!" He ran into the kitchen and fell to the ground, dramatically clutching his chest.
"Calm down! I'll go to the shops and get some more." I patted his head.
He stood up straight and grinned widely. "Okay."
I laughed to myself at how easily he managed to get over the 'no milk' tragedy.
I walked into the hallway and pulled on my white converse, before grabbing my jacket and car keys.
"I'm off to the shops!" I yelled upstairs.
Before I could even reach the front door, Niall came bounding down the stairs. "I'm coming!" He hurried to put on his shoes and coat.
"Why so eager?" I questioned as we left the apartment we were all staying in.
He just looked at me as if I'd asked the most obvious question in the world. "There's food at supermarkets, duh." He said.
Of course. Niall wanted food. You know I'm surprised that boy isn't the size of a house with the amount of food he consumes.
We climbed into my car and began driving down to Tesco's.
Katie's P.O.V.
"Mam, did you remember to get bread?" I looked around at the various shopping bags sprawled across the kitchen floor.
"Damn! I knew there was something I forgot." She sighed in defeat.
I just chuckled. "Don't worry, I'll go and get some now."
I grabbed my purse from the kitchen counter and started towards the door. Mam tried shoving a €10 note in my hand but I insisted that I would pay. After pulling on my navy TOMS, I picked up my handbag and threw in my mobile phone and purse. Then I let myself out of the house and began the 10 minute walk to Tesco's.
Niall's P.O.V.
As we searched for an empty space in the car park, I looked up at the massive Tesco's sign in delight. Before Liam even stopped the car, I jumped out and ran quickly towards the front entrance. I could hear him calling after me but I didn't care. I stopped in my tracks and waited for him to catch up to me.
"Niall James Horan, do not do that again." He said, slightly out of breath. Haha.
Once I'd received a long lecture about running away from Daddy Direction, I skipped off merrily towards the confectionery aisle. I was in heaven. I searched around the sweets until I found just what I was looking for, peanut M&M's. I grabbed two large bags, and decided I'd wash it all down with a bottle of coke. When I felt satisfied with my findings, I walked around the supermarket in search of Liam.
After wandering around the entire shop, I finally found Liam at the till.
"I sure hope one of those is for me." He eyed the sweets tucked underneath my arms.
"Nope." I said, popping the 'p'.
His jaw dropped open in pretend shock, I knew he was only messing, but I still felt bad. "Wait here, I'll go get you something." I ran back to the front of the store.
It was hard running carrying so much food. I probably should've left it all with Liam. Oh well. As I was speeding towards the sweets, I crashed into something and fell to the floor. It took me a while to take in what had happened. I looked up to see that I hadn't bumped into something, but someone. A girl.
"Oh God, I'm so sorry about that." She said in a thick Irish accent.
"No, no, I should be the one apologizing. I wasn't really looking where I was going." I stood up, offering out a hand to pull her up too.
She smiled and took it willingly. Now that we were both on our feet, I could finally get a good look at her characteristics. She was gorgeous. Truly she was. She had curly, dark brown hair that came just above her waist. She had a few freckles scattered across her cheeks and nose, and her eyes were the most beautiful shade of green I'd ever come across.
"Thanks." She smiled again, this time revealing her perfectly white teeth.
"No problem." I just continued to gaze into her eyes. They were so mystical; I felt like I could get lost in them. Okay that sounds cheesy. But hey, it's true!
I noticed her cheeks were burning a deep shade of red. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
I realized I'd maybe been staring at her for a bit too long. Crap, she must think I'm a creep or something. "Sorry."
"It's fine." She looked at the ground. She was so shy, it was adorable.
"So, what's your name?" I desperately wanted to have a conversation with this girl, she fascinated me. Plus, it's been a while since I talked to girls, and I wanted to get back into the swing of things.
"Katie." She smiled again. I could've sworn my heart skipped a beat. Wow, I'm so cringey.
"Nice to meet ya, Katie. I'm Niall." I said, shaking her hand formally. "This might seem quite forward, but could I have your number?" I decided to take my chances. The worst she could say is 'no'.
"Erm... sure." YES!
We handed each other our phones and exchanged numbers. I was definately going to be texting her later! I've never done this before, but for some reason I just really wanted to get to know Katie. She seemed like the type of girl who enjoyed a bit of banter.
"Well, I really best be going. Me Mam will probably be wondering where I am." She told me.
"Okay. I'll cya soon, maybe?" I flashed her my most charming smile.
"Yeah, maybe." I was taking that as a 'yes'.
She gave me one last grin before leaving the store. There was no doubt in my mind that I'd be seeing her again.
