Chapter 4: No Longer Alone

After my eyes open up I found myself in a place I had never seen before as I sat up I see my body was bandaged up before getting out of the bed I was in to look around but no one was around. "Where am I?" I asked myself as the front door opens and I see Gary and Trisha walking in with what looked like food as they noticed me. "Hey glad to see your awake we are just going to make some dinner" Gary says as I looked at the him but unsure how to answer as I Trisha tossed me some clothes.

"Put those on" Trisha said as I put on the clothes and soon walked over to them where they started giving me some information. "So I lost to All For One" I say as Gary and Trisha can see that this was not something I was used to as I stand up and walk back into the room I was in. "You think he's going to be ok this lose seems hard for him" Trisha says as she continues to prepare the food as Gary could only look at the wooden door and wonder just how much this was effecting you.

In the room you sat on the bed looking at the ceiling as the thoughts continue to play through your mind. *All For One beat me and yet I'm still alive was it fate or just luck either way I need to get back to work before I get too attached to these people* I thought as I pack up my gear and leave through the shadows after I was outside I start walking away and see the destruction caused by the jail break.

Back Inside

Gary sat by the window and sees you leave as Trisha looked over at him. "Maybe we should let him go after all he never needed anyone before all this right" Trisha said however she could tell that Gary knew more from just a few words with you. "He might have been strong but now he is broken and I believe old wounds have reopened which is leading him down a path of destruction just like you Trisha" Gary says as Trisha remembers the day they met which was before they were sent to Tartarus she turned off the dinner and heads for the door.

"Where you going?" Gary asked as Trisha stops a moment. "A walk I was cramped up in a cell for so long and I want to stretch my legs be back later" Trisha told him as Gary smiled at her lie but he knew if anyone could bring you back it was going to be Trisha.

Trisha as walking through the streets while looking for you but all she saw was how the world had gone to hell villains running free through the streets after a little more searching she managed to find you but she find you kneeling at a grave. "Why are you following me Trisha?" I asked which makes her jump at how I knew she was there but she decides to come out and walks over to me. "I'm just taking a walk why are you here?" Trisha asked as I stand up after placing some flowers on the grave.

"This is my parents grave the day my life changed was the same day I lost them which is why I will not stop until all the evil is gone heroes and villains are all the same" I told her as I go to walk away however she grabs my hand making me stop. "Do you really think this is cool driving yourself to an early grave it won't bring them back you must know this" Trisha says as I just look forward before pulling away. "What I do is none of your concern I don't understand why you three are even trying to help me" I told her as I go back to walking however I'm soon stopped by her teleporting in front of me.

"We are helping you because just like you we know what it's like to lose those close to you I lost the man I loved and it hurt so I ran away hoping to drown the pain but I made mistakes but meeting Gary and Paul was my best mistake because I was not alone I had people who could understand me, that's why we are helping you because your like we were lost and alone but look your not alone because we understand your pain so please trust us" Trisha said as I turned to look at her and I could see only the truth in her eyes as I walk back over to her. "Trisha I get you three are trying to help me but I live in a whole different world than you all and right now the path I'm on is pathed in blood and that's not a path I want anyone else to walk so do yourselves a favour and stay away from me" I told her before I disappear into a shadow leaving her in a silence but I knew it was for the best as I work better alone.

I soon reappear in my base where Jarvis was quick to notice as I walk over to the computer and begin searching for all signs of All For One or The League Of Villains but nothing. "If I may sir why do you seem happier since you got back" Jarvis says as I looked at myself in the computer screen and I was indeed happy which was strange why was I happy could it be because of Trisha and the others. "Just ignore it and keep searching for any signs of All For One or The League Of Villains I'll be on patrol so inform me when you find something.

I leave into the city which has seen better days but nothing I didn't expect since the world was run for so long by corruption. "This world needs some one to protect it but who am I even able to give the answer" I told myself as I see a woman being chased by a low class into an alley which I quickly jumped into before landing on the villain smashing him into the ground as the woman looked at me but seems scared by me so I grab the villain and leave. *She was scared of me but why I saved her* I thought as I stop near a police station and looked at it for a moment before knocking on the door as a police officer answers and saw me with the villain he reached for his weapon but I stop him making him look at me before I toss the villain to him. "I'm not here to hurt anyone I'm just trying to help" I told him as I vanish quickly as I see the surprised look on his face before I am gone.
