Chapter 8: Quirk + (Part 1)

I sat in a cell as I see pro heroes standing in front of me all trying to decide if they should trust me as I see them look at me.

"Ok Red X tell us your intension for appearing at UA" Endeavor say as I look around wondering if they would believe my reason for actually showing myself at UA. "I only wanted to help" I told them as I could see that they were still discussing what should be done as I noticed All Might walk over. "Tell me young man why call yourself a hero?" All Might asked as I looked at the ground unsure of how to answer because I don't see myself as a hero and yet I feel like I am one it's a strange feeling.

"I'm not really sure I don't really understand my reason for calling myself a hero it just felt right and when that kid was in trouble something made my body move on it's own" I told him as I could see the look in his eyes it was one which I saw back in my childhood before learning I was quirkless. I was only a little kid back then but even so just seeing my mother and father made me happy and the day I told them I wanted to be a hero they supported me making me a custom but once I learned I was quirkless everything change I left like my dream was ripped away from me but even then my mother and father never stopped supporting me helping me to find a new dream. "Tell me All Might can I be a hero?" I asked and my question caught the ears of all the pro heroes as they wanted to know his response.

"It's not for me to say but I believe you already have the answer because the moment you stepped in to protect others that's the moment you became a hero" All Might told me as I see Principal Nezu walks over and offers me a chance to join the heroes in exchange I will be forgiven for my actions and I choose to take the deal as long as my friends Gary, Trisha, Paul and Yuki get the same as me and he agrees and just like that I was free. As I walked through the halls of UA I could see the stares people was giving me but it didn't bother me as I stood in front of my room.

*Mom, dad I hope I've made the right choices in my life because I think somewhere along the way I lost sight of the real me* I thought as I walk into my room and lay on the bed looking at the ceiling but I couldn't sleep so I decide to take a patrol around the city to try and put my mind at ease. As I looked down at the streets I see no sign of any criminals not even a single villain which put me on guard before the shadows tell me that people were standing behind me but when I look at who it was I see Gary, Paul and Trisha in their costumes.

"What are you three doing here?" I asked as the all smiled before Gary leans on my shoulder. "We are going on patrol after all we are your friends so let us help you" Gary says as I looked at them and decide not to fight it just let them tag along as we start searching for any signs of villains.

After what felt like hours all we found was nothing but some signs did point to people living in the area but we saw no one around. "He F/n I'm not likeing the vibe of this situation these streets should have people in them but we have found nothing" Paul says as I was starting to agree nothing seems right but then that begs the question of where are the people until I see someone walking out from behind some rubble. "Over there" I told them as we rushed over to the person and saw they were injuried but as we were about to help a sick laughter came from the dark alley which the person must have walked out from as a villain appears

"Oh dear look at my luck three more to add to my collection tell me children would that be fun to join my collection" the villain says as I stand up while Gary and Paul back me up while Trisha helps the injuried person but the villain licks his lips as if we were pieces of meat. "We have no idea who you are but if your intention is to hurt this person then you'll have to go through us" I told him as he gave a evil smirk. "Oh but your all going to be joining him soon but allow me to give you a shock" the villain says as I see them shoot out a bolt of lightning which all of us have to dodge but I quickly rush in before he can attck but as soon as my fist made contact I feel pain as if I had just punched steel.

"The iron body quirk very useful for defence as you can see now let me taste you" he reached for me but I quickly jump back as he looked at me and smiles. "F/n we need to retreat he's got more than one quirk he most likely works for All For One" Gary said as we start running but I soon noticed that Gary had vanished only to see the villain has him.

"Shifting space a great quirk for catching my next victim" the villain says before I see Gary turn into an orb of light and absorb into his body. "Ah what a feeling but I need more he wets my appetite" he says before shoot water at us just like Gary does and I was starting to understand his quirk as I see Paul rush in and the same happens to him. "Trisha stay away from him I have no idea how but this guy can absorb people and use their quirks" I tell her as the villain looked displeased by my little discovery as I grab Trisha and she teleports us back to UA with the injuried person and we quickly inform all the other heroes about what we just witness and they were all just as surprised.
