"Excuse me?" Mariyam spoke to the child "Are you lost?"
The child froze but then nodded yes. "I don't think they even talk either" Tamari added walking up to them from across the hall. "But we still have to try." Mariyam declared dead set on getting this child where they belong. Just then they heard a Announcement on the speakers.
"Attention Aquarium Visitors! For 10$ you can make a Custom announcement!" A female worker said. "This isn't that good of a idea..." a male voice reached out from the speaker. "Eh I'm sure nothing will go wrong" the female worker said ending the announcement.
"Perfect" Mariyam Said "we can announce the child's absence on the speaker"
Tamari shrugged as Them, Mariyam, and the Child went the Speaker System near the entrance right by the gift shop. There was a Female Mid 20s employee in a low ponytail and a blue shirt with the aquariums logo on it and
Some beige shorts on.
"Hello there! How may I help you?" The lady reached out. "We have come to make a announcement on the speakers" Mariyam said. "Great!" The lady said "That will be Ten Bucks!" She said enthusiastically.
Mariyam gives the lady 10$ from Fayrouz's Wallet and make their way to the microphone behind them. Tamari suddenly takes the microphone "Hey there's this dumbass kid who got lost" Tamari says without even filtering any of their speech.
"You can't just say that on the microphone there are MANY kids in this place!" Mariyam said irritated. "So my mic now." Tamari added. "THIS ISNT WHAT WE ARE HERE FOR-" Mariyam said as she snatched the mic and Tamari just stood there shook by the fact she could even yell.
"There's a Child with Black hair, Olive skin, Blue eyes, and White and Black Clothing. If you are their parent Please pick them up we are by the Gift Shop. I repeat. A child with Black Hair, Olive Skin, Blue Eyes, and White and Black Hair. They are currently nonverbal so please come to the gift shop if you are their parents." Mariyam finished her message.
"What if this kids parents left already what then?" Tamari asked "then we call the police." Mariyam responded with answer.
"Maybe we could ask on the speakers again, or call the cops already it's been 5 minutes, or ma-" Tamari got interrupted with their thoughts by the kid grabbing their tail.
There was a silence, with only the crowd being heard chatting with each-other as Tamari's soul left their body in embarrassment. "Tamari? Tamari???" Mariyam called for their attention, waving her hands in front of their face.
"Please let go. My tail isn't a fucking toy..." Tamari finally said. The child let go as Tamari sighed a breath they weren't even holding. "Can you even hold a conversation without being so vulgar Tamari?" Mariyam said.
Suddenly two adults came to the gift shop.
