Elena's POV
I watched as auntie Jenna was clutching her head in agony. I felt bad, that I couldn't do anything to help her. It was killing me to see her like this.

"Oh, my head. What's wrong?"
"Do you remember what happened?" I asked with any hope that she did.

I watched as she went into thought for a moment before her eyes met mine. "You called me. You were so scared. Oh, ah, I should have realised that it wasn't you. The second I walked out that house, someone grabbed me. A vampire."

I put my hand on her shoulder to comfort her. "Klaus. It was Klaus"

Jenna looked to Elena with teary eyes. "He made me drink his blood. And I don't remember anything after that. Where are we? What happened?" She scanned her eyes around her surroundings. Trees and more trees.

I took her hand in mine to sooth her. "Why don't I remember anything?" I swallowed a lump that had formed in my throat "Jenna do you remember... when I told you how someone becomes a vampire?"

"Yeah, if you die with vampire blood in your system, it's..." I watched as her mouth gaped open, and realisation hit her. "Oh, god. He killed me."

I placed my hands on each side of her cheeks, to get her to listen to me. "Jenna, listen to me. Listen to me. Everything's going to be okay. I'm going to get you out of here." I let a few of my own stray tears fall free.

"I'm a vampire?" It was hard for her to take in, and the circumstances that they were in didn't help either.

Before I could say anything I was cut of by a smug voice. "And I bet you're hungry"

I look up to see Greta, with a smug smile on her face. I rapidly look around to see if there was anything, when my eyes spotted a sharp rock, as I rush to grab it, I get sent flying backwards. As I go to get up, I get stopped by fire forming around me in a circle.

"Don't bother trying to get through. I spelled the circle. You're trapped. No matter what you do."

"Greta... please, just- just let her go." she completely ignores my pleads and grabs the rock I lunged for, slicking a dace across her wrist. I look to Jenna to see her looking hungrily at the blood dripping from Greta's wrist. It was like she was in a trance, all her crying had stopped. And she was just focused on the blood.

"klaus chose her"
"No" I couldn't do anything like Greta said I was trapped and I couldn't get to Jenna to help her.

I watch hopelessly as Greta lowers her wrist to Jenna's mouth. "Drink it" Jenna started leaning closer to the blood. this couldn't be happening. "No"

Jenna stops for a second, thinking over what she was doing until Greta lowered the blood again. "Drink it"

"Jenna,don't!"
"I can't" Jenna's eyes were still glued to the dripping blood. I had to do something. Jenna didn't deserve this.
"Let her go"

After a moment Jenna sinks her teeth into the wound. I study how her face as it transforms, her eyes go bloodshot red. If Greta hadn't of pulled her wrist away, I don't know if Jenna would have stopped.

"That's enough" As Greta stands up she flicks her wrist and a flame of fire surrounds Jenna. She falls back terrified.

"Jenna. it's going to be okay" I got as close to the flames as could to keep talking to her. Jenna was sitting in the middle of the circle staring straight.

"Look at me. Hey, look at me." When she turns to me, she has blood dripping from the corners of her mouth and her chin. "It's going to be okay" I watched as dark veins appeared under her eyes.
