[i lied this is the last chapter surprise]

The year passed quickly. Juliette had noticeably put in a lot of effort into her senior year out of excitement for her new job. Finals week passed by and the graduation ceremony had just ended, leaving Juliette as a full adult. She grinned, clad in her cap and gown as she came to greet her family. Her mom's eyes were brimmed with tears and her dad had his phone out, snapping pictures. Her brother held a boquet of roses and looked at his sister with glimmering pride.

"Congratulations, sweetie!" Her mother exclaimed, embracing her daughter. "Oh, you did so well. I can't believe you're all grown up."

Juliette, not knowing how to respond, just smiled and nodded. She still felt a numb excited feeling from just graduating college.

Although she was estatic, she couldn't stop thinking about one person; Stuart. He had said he couldn't make it to graduation because of a family thing. Feeling let down and unprioritized, she had to keep reminding herself that it was probably something important. Otherwise, he would have been able to make it, right?

After dreadfully taking pictures, Juliette Hogan and her family made their way across the courtyard. Julie couldn't help but notice a sly look in her brother's face but she brushed it away, assuming he just knew something about her parent's gift to her or something.

"Jules, honey, we have a surprise for you." Her mother said with anticipation.

"What do you mean?" She questioned, eyeing her family for clues or gift bags.

"Look over there." Her brother blurted out, pointing down the sidewalk. Juliette turned and gasped immediately.

There stood Stuart in a red shirt and a blazer, with chinos and nice dress shoes. There was no beanie sitting atop his head but through his glasses Juliette could see his eyes gleaming with joy. He held a big boquet of flowers in his hand.

Juliette just started running towards Stuart, who had opened his arms for her. With great joy, she jumped into his arms and embraced her boyfriend.

"I thought you couldn't make it," She said, but the sound was muffled by his jacket.

"You really thought I'd miss this? What kind of boyfriend would I be?" He joked.

"Hate to interrupt, Stewie, but you're hogging her."

Juliette's head snapped over to the person with what sounded like Nick's voice. There they stood, Team Lyle, all waiting.

"You guys!" Juliette exclaimed.

"Congrats, Julie!" Billy greeted.

The group assembled and group-hugged. Juliette was almost positive her dad was taking pictures.

Juliette was truly happy at that moment - surrounded by her boyfriend, best friends, and family, and she could not wait to get to work.
