"Business is all about profit and loss that's what we all believe when it comes to it. No that's what we think, we only think of the profit the world should provide never the pain of loss. Great business people attract customers doesn't matter how it's done as long as one is able to achieve the unachievable. So many business people hide their true intentions in the ugly colours of deceit people eat it up like dumplings on Chinese silverware or ice on a hot summer day. No matter how ugly or misunderstood it looks, as long as a celebrity wore it we can break our backs to get it. Hmm no matter how unappetizing it looks as long as the president stepped in the restaurant it is worth the indigestion. So who the hell cares if your pay check matches the one torn shoe on your foot as long as you can save enough to waste enough is all the business world cares about. The business world depends on the single track minds of 'follow the leader'. A backwards mindset that diminishes individuality yet profitable method. That is exactly how Seth Silverstine operates, treats people like business deals, if you don't profit him you lose your life, if you profit him he keeps you on the palm of his hand. As long as his fair share in the world is safe the rest can burn down. The one thing business men like him always forget is that Monsters give rise to even bigger monsters. And if those various followers get triggered by a single mistake, mishap or worse wrong marketing element they get back. Those stair cases made by the bodies of millions of mindless "follow the leader" campaign can rise up dragging the green arrow on market stocks to a thick red drop. And I can see it in his eyes how he looks at me and my brothers. Like sharks swimming in the wrong tank that is good, the fact that he can taste the fraction of loss in just mere words. It's only a matter of time ... "

"You are a smart girl, you know how to answer difficult questions a character most people luck. How old are you again?" Questions Seth still astonished by how mature Ruby's brain works. He definitely didn't expect such sharp and on point answers. The girl was like a sharp blade that wasn't afraid to cut through anything. Such fearless eyes that tells the truth as it is. The society of today is drowned in hypocrisy, fake smiles, the same people that praise you are the same ones that drag you down. Funny even laughable. It's the world of business, the oxymorons of life, the same people you say thank you to are the same you shout insults at. Maddening, makes one want to get locked up in an asylum. The world's current state is the same as a broken frame that holds a family portrait together so that it can stay at what it calls a home. Ruby seems to understand this fully to the point he can not call it naivity.

In such a small world that we are proud to call new society it's rare to find those with a similar mindset. At first he saw it in Derrick and now he sees it in Ruby. As great at it was to find another relatable mind, he also sees something he fears. People like her are one to fear. Rebellion is a seed that grows in such minds that choose to see beyond the society's need to be ruled. Its amazing how one person can control 7 billion other people. Then again. It's human nature to have other people to think for them cause once they fail, once they make a mistake they are happy to crucify them the same way they praise them. The hidden rule among mankind, the agenda of pointing fingers, the great game of blame and shame. But with characters like Dean, Derrick and Ruby who know how to play around these silent rules without shaking the constant world is scary to him. For the first time in forever he is indeed afraid to be in the same room as lions that are not afraid to feed on other lions. "Am 16 years old." He hears loud and clear getting him back to the reality of time and away from his far gone thoughts. "My father used to say age is not what determines whether one is wise or not, wisdom leaves and breathes in those that choose to open their eyes and see beyond what others see on the surface. I believe you are among the many." Ruby smirks at Seth's comment as if in agreement. She does not need a man like him to gauge her brain capacity in intellect but it was good hearing a murderer Like him point out that he acknowledges how fucked up he is when he ends up on the wrong side of her steak knife.
