RUBY'S DIARYDeals unlike promises must be kept. It takes a lot for two people to sit together for a civilized conversation especially those you are entitled not to trust. Promises are made by people who you are bound to, those who share common stories, secrets, love. That's why they are easily broken, because people change, their eyes face different paths and the choose to turn against each other. Deals on the other hand are bounded by blood, business, barter trade. That's why they can easily be made by two strangers, two enemies, two faceless people. For by the end of the day there is respect in everyone getting something out of it. It's human nature, always stick your fangs where you benefit. Deals are easy to make for they also serve as debts to be paid and in this world it's by blood.
Clean slick black Gucci meets white Nike marked sports shoe under the same table. It was the difference between a lazy successful man and tightly scheduled boss man. The difference between old classical boss and new youth boss. The only thing they have in common is running a money making business that feeds their fortune. As annoying as it is to stare at a man wearing a white puma t-shirt on office grounds, Seth wanted to listen to his proposal before taking his leave. It still itched every inch of him every time his eyes landed on the uncouth trend business men were turning into. Even though it was a thirty minute scheduled meeting it's always polite to respect the traditions of business, wearing a layer of black suit, white shirt settled in with a perfectly tied tie was appealing to a business room. It showed the seriousness of the matters being discussed.
"So is the vehicle worth my every minute being here?" "Yes it is, with added decor of your choice and the sea green colour has been painted as per your request. Is it your favorite tone?" He asks watching as Seth go through the well attached booklet that contained pictures of his vehicle proudly. "It's more of my wife's. You know the motto happy wife happy life." "I'll learn it when I get there. I can have my staff deliver it this Saturday morning." assures the young blonde business man. "This is a whole new brand suited for a man of your expensive taste." "I hope it cures my hunger cause am one hell of a monster when it comes to feeding my desires." Dean throws the man a non-fearing glare. Seated across a man who is a monster of monsters should probably force you to pee your pants when it talks about feeding but not Dean not after everything he did to them. All he sees now is nothing but a murderer that should be slaughtered. "Two things I have learnt from the world. There are monsters we see and there are monsters we hear. The world is blind to the monsters we see even if we look at them in the eye and so does the ones we hear, we go deaf when they speak. That's why the human world is devoured by their mindless nature to follow one mindless leader after another. Protect the fat and suffer fate as being hungry." "Your words drift off from something else. Explain further am getting interested." of course he would, monsters like him love monster stories. Dean smiles at the man before turning his body to the ten foot window observing the busy streets.
"It's easy, men like us don't settle for less we take the risk and once we are done we let the others take the risk for us. Without the care of dying for nothing. They bleed for us like a religion. Which is good for us, it makes our work easier. Since we don't bleed, so we choose to only say what they need to hear for our benefit, creating the illusion of freedom. You know like a true American constitution." "I see. So I suppose, You are only telling me what I need to hear." "It's only business Seth, the rich get richer, the poor keeping saving to feed the rich." "I like how you run your mouth. People like you are worth partnering with how about we set up another meeting to discuss our future binding. The Morganstein motors could sure fit well with my Uber business. We could share efficient ideas on how to keep growing, in better words to become even more richer. Like weeds in a rose garden we take and take from everyone withering the beauty of the rose petals." "That's a deal." The two leaders seal the deal with a handshake, proclaiming their new made partnership. "We can sign the papers tomorrow after the car arrives. I may not be there to pick it up but I'll have someone do it for me." "How about I show up for the signing at around 9:00 o'clock and may be a dinner shall be set to celebrate this new found companionship." "Great." Like a fly to a trap Dean got his wishes without the need of a wine glass.
