Part 1

⚠️T/W: Cheating

"You said you'd take a bullet, told me you would die for me. I had a really bad feeling you've been lying to me. We were on the low, but you were getting high with me. When it's past 11, that's a different side I see. YOU. SAID. YOU'D. DIE. FOR. ME." MC yells in Jake's face with his phone in her hand.

Two Hours prior:

MC came home after a fun night at the club with a few friends and as she's about to walk in the apartment the door is opening and a woman is walking out. She feels her blood start to boil, but she is really that much different? She just came back home from a guy's house she met at the club. As she gets closer to the door Jake see's her. Those normal loving blue eyes are cold and she knows she got caught. She pushes past him and the girl and heads into the kitchen to get coffee as it's early morning.

Jake kisses her goodbye and shuts the door. She feels him walking into the kitchen then she knows he walks away. She hears the shower running and she just makes the coffee. She knows what's about to happen. She see's his phone on the kitchen counter and decides to check it. She puts hers down and grabs his.

She see's all the messages with different girls and she feels like she's going to throw up. She's so focused on the message she doesn't realize he came out of the shower.

"What are you doing with my phone?" he asks coldly.

"What do you think? I SAW HER LEAVE JAKE! You had another woman in our bed!"

"Oh like you're much better! Don't think I didn't see you at the club last night with that guy and watch you leave with him! You have a Fiancé and yet you went out drinking and dancing and went home with another man! So yes I got revenge. Yes this wasn't the first but guess what I learned last night. He wasn't your first either!" He grabs her phone and unlocks it and looks through all the messages.

She throws his phone down and snaps her backs and bolts into the bathroom. She locks the door and realizes she is the one to blame. This wasn't her first time cheating on Jake. Everything was going great but she always seems to mess it up. However the messages she saw on his phone go back just as far as hers which means it all started about the same time. Ten months, ten long months of acting like they were still in love. Planning this wedding but not at the same time. She jumps in the shower and stays there until she runs out of hot water. She looks at the time as she gets dressed and realizes it's been two hours since she came home and caught him in the act.

She unlocks the door and see's him in his office, she goes and grabs her coffee and heads back to him so they can try and talk and figure out what happened. If only she knew what was going to happen.

She looks at his screen and sees it's her phone, all the messages, photos, texts, calls and her heart breaks. He wasn't working, he was hacking her phone. She grabs his phone and looks through it more as he's looking at hers and he spins around.

"You said you would take a bullet for me, MC." His voice is cold, there is no love in it anymore. Even the way he looks at her she knows they are over now.

"You brought other women back here besides her and slept in OUR BED! I think you lost that right!' I yell as I get off the couch but he stops me.

"No say what you want to say! Don't just walk away from this, from us without telling me where we went wrong because we cheated at the same time.' "You tell me because I have no idea where it went wrong! I stopped feeling the love. It felt like we were just putting on this mask for our family and friends because it's what they all expect from us!" "Your right it's been gone for a while." his voice is loud, he want's to yell at her but he can't as they are both wrong. "You said you'd take a bullet, told me you would die for me. MC yells in Jake's face with his phone in her hand.

He loses it at that and grabs her hand with his phone in it making her drop his phone. "I would have died for your MC! But this side of you for the year... this isn't my MC this is someone I don't know who you are anymore!" he yells in her face.

The tears are streaming down her face as she gets her hand loose and takes off her engagement ring and puts it on his desk. "Then it's over! I'll pack a bag and come back another time to get the rest of my stuff' she storms out of the office into the room. She grabs a bag as with all her stuff she needs in it and starts walking out. She walks into the office one last time and grabs her phone from where she was sitting on the couch. She feels his eyes watching her but this is a fight that there is no coming back from. This was a year in the making with lies and secrets. Will she take those secrets to her grave or will they come out? She's even unsure right now that she can't stomach to look at him. She storms out the front door not even looking back, no idea where she is going but she can't live this lie of love anymore.
