Meryle and Frisk were about to walk past a sentry when a bird-like monster entered in a FIGHT with them, causing their souls to appear. Meryle mentally panicked, but Frisk looked at Snowdrake with a calm expression.
Snowdrake: Ice puns are " snow " problem.
Meryle: ( stiffened a laugh ) ( to self: ) Keep it together, Meryle. You're stronger than this.
Frisk: ( Whispers to Meryle: ) Come on, be " ice " to them.
Frisk quickly started dodging Snowdrake's attacks while Meryle calmly danced the ballet around them like she did before. She twirled around the attacks with ease and grace.
Frisk: ( to Meryle: ) Where did you learn how to dance?
Meryle: I don't know, and now's not the time, Frisk.
Frisk: Yeah, ( to Snowdrake: ) That joke wasn't really funny.
Meryle gave Frisk a " What are you doing?! " look.
Snowdrake: ( to Frisk: ) Whatever, flesh bag!
Meryle and Frisk continued to dodge Snowdrake's attacks. Meryle leaps over a line of crescent moon attacks as Frisk goes around them through the opening.
Snowdrake: Wait... My name is... a pun?!
Meryle and Frisk both laughed.
Snowdrake: What are you two laughin' at?!?
Meryle and Frisk dodged some more attacks, Meryle felt like she was going to fall when she twirled around the attacks, but she felt like something caught her and pulled her back up, to Frisk it looked like had made it look like she was about to fall and pulled herself back up and continued twirling around the attacks.
Meryle: ( to Snowdrake: ) Hey! I got out of the ice cream business. I just didn't like working on " sundaes ".
Frisk: ( is trying to not laugh ) ( to self: ) I swear if this is going to be a pun off, I'm going to die of laughter.
Snowdrake: I've heard that one. It smells like a wet pillow.
Snowdrake was smiling at it's own bad joke. Frisk then took the chase to flee, and grabbed Meryle's hand before they fled from the FIGHT. Meryle and Frisk then walked past the " Well-crafted " sentry station.
They then saw a sign that said " Absolutely NO MOVING! ! ! "
Meryle: Huh?
Frisk and Meryle were about to walk past the sentry station with a dog-like monster popped his head out causing them to freeze in place.
Doggo: Did something move? Was it my imagination? I can only see moving things. If something WAS moving. . . For example, a human. . . I'll make sure it NEVER moves again!
Meryle starts mentally panicking in her head as they entered a FIGHT with Doggo.
Doggo: Don't move an inch!
Meryle and Frisk stood absolutely still, Doggo can't seem to find anything. Frisk then petted Doggo.
Doggo: What I've been pet! ! !
