Somethings Wrong. || Inanimate Insanity AU(?)

"Whatever you do, Dont Get Caught."

Its been a few hours since they started following Taco to the Meeple HQ, through the forest. She said she knew the forest like the back of her hand. Paper was holding onto Fans hand in fear of getting lost somehow, which is entirely possible. But Fan encouraged him that it wasnt.

"Are we Sure we can trust her?? what if shes leading us to our doom??"
Paper hissed at Fan, Taco turned around and glared at paper, she stopped making fan and paper both stop.

"I'm not Deaf, you know. I could leave you two right here to fend for yourselves."
She turned forward and started walking again, after she sucessfully made paper fall back a bit and not say anything more. Fan was staring at Taco, is she using intimidation to actually get them to listen to her?? what if she Does just leave them to rot? Fans overanalyzation on every person in the show gets the best of him sometimes.

Eventually, they did get somewhat near Meeple HQ, they were looking through a bush with Taco when she turned to them and in a hushed voice said--

"Cobs has cameras EVERYWHERE. we arent going to be going through the front. we'll be taking a much sneakier approach--if you will."
Taco points to the two while she spoke, They looked at eachother and nodded.

"Whats the 'Sneakier Approach' then?"
Fan said, hands on his hips looking at taco, she really was as short as he thought! She smiled at them and that kinda worried Paper

"Your gonna be going through the vents on the side."
Taco pointed to the vents on the side of the walls, Paper and Fan both said at the same time

"WHAT!?"
Taco just smiled and shrugged at them

"Unless you want to be caught by Cobs and his Phone army, i suggest you go through there."
Taco said, and then she pulled out a few things

"What are those?"
Fan said, he wanted an answer for that. Is she Crazy?? telling them to first invade meeple HQ, AND THEN telling them to go through the vents?? is she that insane?

"Just devices we can use to communicate. Im not going in."
Taco said and handed them to them, Paper reluctantly took one and Fan swiftly took it from her.

"Are you insane?"

"Might as well be"
She said with a smile, before turning back to the HQ. she then pointed to a worn out path that is barely able to be seen

"Take that path, it'll take you to the vents, after you get there, the vents arent screwed on--which is pretty idiotic if you ask me. So you can just pull it off and push it back on. Easy peasy."
Fan and Paper looked at eachother, they did not like this idea whatsoever. But if its gonna help them figure out why this all happened to those 8 people, they might as well go through with it.

Taco waved at them and went back behind the bush when they finally went on the path, Paper still holding Fans hand, Not the best Duo to send into Meeple HQ, to invade it nonetheless. The two finally made it to the vents.

"ill take it off, you go in first, Paper."
Fan took his hand from Paper and then took off the vent cover and put his hand out for paper to get in

"What!? why me?"
Paper said, he looked at the dark inside of the Vent and looked back to Fan, fear in his eyes

"Your more flexible, it'll be easier for you to go first so im not holding you back from going on forward"
Fan said to Paper, who sighed. He got onto his knees, slightly bent himself and then went into the Vent, Fan had followed after he closed himself a little bit. The vent cover was hopefully not going to be noticed that its missing.

Fan and Paper crawled in the Vent in silence, they had put on the communication devices reluctantly, and there was no Taco talking to them, so they were perfectly silent. When they had made it to the end, they had been lead into a closet (NOT. the closet with 3GS inside.) they looked around a bit before fixing themselves up.

"jeez...its so daAAR-"
Fan put a hand over Papers mouth, Paper only screamed because he saw a rat and thought it was something else moving around the floor. Fan looked at Paper sternly. His face giving all Paper needed to know.

They continued to look around, before Fan stepped on something making a crumpling sound. He was hoping it wasnt anything like bones, that would be disgusting. Thankfully it was just another note, it looked unfinished. Fan quickly wrote it down on his phone.

Fan put his phone away and then looked over to Paper and signaled for him to come over here, he found something. Paper walked over quietly and looked at the note.

Paper pointed at how the signature was at the beginning this time. Definitely not a note made by cobs. the Signature was.....

Oh no.

The two looked up and Saw a familiar figure, standing infront of them. But it seemed to be barely moving. It took the note shakily but swiftly, and crushed it up. Fan and Paper both walked back a bit. 

This figure Wasnt Cobs, thankfully.

It was Mephone.
