It's a bright day as the ship gently lands on the planet
You can't tell how much time has passed since you left earth
The ship lands in a open field
Gentle noises come from within the darkness of the jungle nearby
"we're here" Tau'ka softly nudges you
"huh what?" you turn your head to face Tau'ka
You wipe the drool from your face having just woken up
"we're here" Tau'ka repeats "a whole new planet just us.."
You perk up immediately
"a whole new planet?" you say "do you wanna go out?"
"not yet for you" Tau'ka sighs "have to check if it's safe for you"
"or if they followed" Tau'ka gently pats your head "sure hope not"
"hey!" you shove his hand of your head "but I wanna see the world"
"soon, y/n.." Tau'ka says "soon"
Before you can say anything he turns around and grabs something from underneath the chair
He hands it to you
It's surpisingly heavy for it's size
It's small and compact cilinder
You addmire it for a few seconds before discovering a button
You press it and it expands into a spear
"holy fuck" you mumble "what's this for"
"well since you'll be alone for a bit" Tau'ka says gesturing to the spear "you have to be able to defend yourself"
"sure I guess" you say as you feel a bit of dread "from what exactly?"
"anything that comes in" Tau'ka responds
"anything" You nod understandingly
Tau'ka nods and turns around
"don't die while I'm gone" he says right before exiting
"I'll think about it" you joke
*time skip*
after about 45 minutes of sitting alone Tau'ka comes back in
"safe enough" he shrugs "from here and about 50 miles nothing but wildlife"
"so I can go?" you stare at him with a raised eyebrow
"yes but I'm coming with you" he sighs
"yippee" you say with enthousiasme
You quickly get up almost falling to the floor
"hey hey" Tau'ka says as holding you back a bit "don't hurt yourself"
"yeah yeah" you say as you're properly on your feet "I'm just so happy"
You swiftly walk to door with Tau'ka right behind you
"you know we have all the time of the world right?" Tau'ka sighs
"let me have this" you say as you approach the exit of the ship
"sure" Tau'ka audibaly sighs
You set you first step outiside onto the open field taking a deep breath in
"home" you sigh
You take a wide look of the view
feeling the suns soflty embrace your skin
Seeing the high grass move
hearing the sound of the wildlife
You look at Tau'ka with a devious look on your face
and then sprint into the field
Before you know it you're on the grass with Tau'ka holding you down
"pffft" you giggle "wouldn't have expected anything else"
"not funny" he says letting you go
