Brian's POV:
„Morning, sleepyhead” I heard as soon as I woke up. I sat down instinctively and saw a tall blonde girl standing next to me.
„I'm Wendy” She said smiling. I was speechless. I have never seen such a beautiful creature. She had beautiful straight blonde hair in a warm shade, big chocolate eyes and rosy cheeks. She was tall and slim. She gave the impression of a very nice but confident person.
„My name's Brian” I replied intimidated.
I felt my cheeks getting red.
„Alright, Brian. Would you like some beans?” Beans? I looked at her surprised. Like actual beans? I haven't eaten anything normal since beginning of the apocalypse. And She was offering me food when she doesn't even know me?
„Oh, cmon. Don't be so suspicious. After all you get hurt because of us” Wendy stuttered theatrically. Oh yeah. Now I remember. They scared the fuck out of me. I immediately looked at my leg. It hurt indeed. But, It looked much better that I remembered. I smiled when I noticed her perplexed look.
„You look pretty good for apocalypse standards. You have 5 minutes to get ready” she smiled and tossed me clean clothes.
She was about to leave the room but stopped at the door.
“Believe me, we stand a better chance together than apart. The more of us, the better.” Wendy smiled sadly. „And a lot funnier”
