A few weeks had passed since Namjoon and Soohyun had gone out on their first date, two months. Since then, the two had gone on a few more. They'd even redone their book store idea with no problems from anyone and no need to call the other their spouse to get out of anything. Soohyun had chosen a book for Namjoon he enjoyed very much and he recommended her a book she'd been wanting to read for a while but never seemed to get around to doing it. Additionally, Namjoon had been constantly giving her flowers. Always keeping one for himself to be able to know when it was time to get her more.

Their chemistry was phenomenal, there was no unreciprocated energy between the two. It had been making each fall even harder for the other. Namjoon would no longer wait for Aerie outside when he picked her up, he went inside and walked with her so he'd get a quick peek at Soohyun; occasionally he'd shoot her a quick wink or flash her a smile. And although Soohyun wore the same uniform everyday, a white button up and khaki pants. But even dressed so blandly, Namjoon thought of her as nothing less than absolutely breathtaking.

Speaking of Aerie, she began to suspect something between the two but never brought it up. What if she was wrong and offended them? She didn't want that. Instead she resorted to telling Taehyung and Jungkook about said suspicions. Of course the two adults knew that Namjoon and Soohyun had been seeing each other to get to know each other better. But to Aerie, they were just as clueless.

김남준: Hello pretty

서수현: hello prettier | Kim Namjoon hearted this message

김남준: Are you free Friday? I know we normally do Saturday or Sunday but I had something come up for work and I still want to see you this weekend.

서수현: I'm free after 7

김남준: Perfect, I'll see you Friday

Namjoon wasn't planning anything extravagant, he just wanted to spend time with her. They'd probably just go get something to eat and then walk around for a bit. As long as they did it together, he really didn't care what they did.

It was Wednesday. Namjoon had been at his work office all day and was simply tired. He just wanted to leave, get Aerie and go home. The morning was full of meetings, schedule changes, inspections and quite honestly, too much for one day. It had been so chaotic and hectic, everyone in the building was absolutely drained. But no matter how tiring or dreadful a day seemed to be, Aerie had such a contagious energy. He knew his beloved niece would recharge his battery.

"What'd you do today?" Namjoon asked his niece just as he had done everyday since he began picking her up from school.

"The usual, except in English, I have to translate a story from English to Korean. I don't even understand why I have to learn English. I don't need to talk to be able to paint." She complained. The girl was gifted in art and in maths. English was her worst subject alongside literature.

"I can help you, did you forget you have an amazing uncle who speaks two other languages?" Namjoon asked sarcastically. He was only sarcastic about calling himself amazing, he spoke Korean, Japanese and English.

"That's right! Oh my goodness, please help me. I can only remember like six words and 4 sentences." Aerie admitted.

"I got your back, kid. We'll start with that when we get home." The car ride remained quiet after that. Aerie was writing down little things she saw to sketch and Namjoon focused on the road. They alternated routes home. Some days they'd go the fast way, sometimes they'd take the scenic route but most days they went the long way. Aerie hadn't really realised but Namjoon did it so she wouldn't always write the same things she saw. He knew she loved keeping track of the new things she saw, so he'd do his best to go home in different ways so she'd be able to draw new things.
