김경민: aerie has to stay longer today, i'll pick her up.

김남준: You sure? I can still go

김경민: am sure. i'll let you know if i end up not able to make it though

김남준: Okay

Namjoon wanted to be the one to pick up Aerie. He had gotten used to the routine of their early evenings together. That and the chance to see Soohyun. It was already mid March and Aerie was still clueless about what was going on between her uncle and teacher. To be fair, both Namjoon and Soohyun agreed to keep it a secret until Aerie moved onto a different teacher. It wasn't that they didn't want to tell her, they just wanted to avoid anyone else finding out and accusing Soohyun of favouritism. They wanted her to know, her speculations she had before had gone away after a week. Everyone kind of knew. Yujin, Taehyung and Jungkook knew Soohyun and Namjoon were dating, Kyung Min and Hwandu just knew he was seeing someone. Some of Soohyun's coworkers were curious to know if the gentleman who would accompany her was a friend or something more. She of course wouldn't say anything to avoid the whole favouritism thing.

"Uncle Joon?" Aerie asked, "I thought my mom was coming." She seemed a little disappointed.

"Sorry honey, she's out of work but stuck in traffic. I'm taking you home so we can wait for her there." He explained. "She wanted to be the one to pick you up but traffic didn't let her." Aerie understood since her mom worked on the other side of the city.

"Okay." She still, however, didn't seem happy. Quietly she got her things and walked over to her uncle. It was unlike Aerie to act so sad no matter how disappointed or upset she was.

"What can I do to cheer you up?" He asked once they walked out the door.

"Nothing, I'll be fine once I see my mom." Aerie shrugged. She remained quiet all throughout the car ride home.

김남준: Did something happen to Aerie today? She's been really quiet

서수현: she got her first period today so she's been a little moody and scared. she'll feel better when she's with her mom.

김남준: Okay, I was a little worried. Thank you

서수현: you're so cute

Once Aerie saw her mom's car she seemed so much happier. It wasn't easy for her to get her period away from home, it made her feel gross. Thankfully, she was comfortable enough with Soohyun to ask if she had anything for her little problem and thankfully, she did. She even walked out of the classroom with her while another teacher watched over the remaining students and took her to the bathrooms. Kyung Min was a little startled by how quickly her daughter ran to her. "Hey baby, how was your day?" She asked, greeting her daughter.

"It was okay. Can I go inside?" She asked shyly.

"Go ahead." She said, handing Aerie the key to the front door. "Is she okay?" Kyung Min asked her brother once her daughter walked inside the house.

"Her teacher told me she got her period today so she's a little freaked out and sad." He explained. Kyung Min was a little worried since she couldn't do much to help.

"Oh my god. She didn't look in pain, did she?"

"She had her arms crossed so I would assume her chest might hurt." Namjoon said. "Either that or she's just sad. You know her." He added.

"I'm gonna go take care of her. Thanks Joon." She said, walking towards her front door, bidding her brother goodbye.

"No problem, I'll see you tomorrow." He waved.
