The group moved deeper into the asylum, their footsteps echoing through the empty hallways. The air was thick with the musty smell of old furniture and mould. Raven's heart was pounding in her chest. She had been waiting for this moment for months, ever since she first heard the rumors about the asylum's sinister past. As they turned a corner, their flashlights illuminated a long hallway lined with doors. Each door was marked with a number, a reminder of the patients who had once been trapped inside. Raven's skin prickled with a sense of foreboding as they approached the end of the hallway, where a single door stood closed. She reached for the doorknob and slowly pushed it open, revealing a room that was even darker than the rest of the asylum.

The group stepped cautiously into the dark room, and as their eyes adjusted to the gloom, they saw that it was cluttered with old medical supplies and broken pieces of equipment. Raven's flashlight landed on a dusty clipboard attached to the wall, covered with illegible handwriting. Damien picked up a rusted saw and tossed it aside, his face twisted with disgust. Willow spotted a diary, half-buried under a pile of papers, and picked it up, her curiosity piqued. Gabe walked over to a rusted metal cabinet and pulled it open, revealing a few rusted drugs and a handful of yellowing documents. As he flipped through them, his eyes widened in shock. "Guys," he breathed, "I think we just hit the jackpot."

The group gathered around Gabe, peering curiously at the documents. Raven felt a sense of excitement bubble up in her chest. Could these be the answers they had been seeking? She scanned the documents, her mind racing as she pieced together the fragments of information. The records described in detail the brutal experiments conducted on the patients, the tortuous procedures they were subjected to, and the horrific side effects they suffered. Raven's stomach churned as she read on. She knew they had to keep digging. There had to be more to this story.

Suddenly, a loud creaking noise interrupted their search. The group fell silent, anxiously peering into the darkness. For a moment, they heard nothing but the sound of their own breathing. Then, a faint whisper drifted towards them. Willow tensed up, her eyes darting around, looking for the source. Raven stepped forward, her hand reaching for the doorknob. It was locked. She jiggled the handle, but it wouldn't budge. The whispering grew louder, more insistent. The group looked at each other nervously, unsure of what to do next.
