"I'll go grab my bottle real quick." Said Mika and ran back to the soccer field.

"Chay!"

"Fah, hey."

The girl looked at her friend.

"Are you okay ?"

"I am. What about you ?"

She nodded hesitantly, playing with her fingers.

"I'm sorry about.. yesterday.." she stumbled over her words.

The brown haired boy felt sorry for her so he decided to calm her down.

"It's fine Fah, don't worry." Chay said and playfully slapped her shoulder.

"Where were you all day ?"

"I had club activities today. I walked past y'all a few times but you two seemed to be in your own world." Said Fah and Chay nodded.

"Is everything alright between you and Mika ? Y'all seemed distant today."

"What do you mean ?"

"Like I said, you were in your own worlds. Mika seemed to be deep in thoughts and every time I saw you, you were either reading or looked like you were about to sleep."

Chay looked down and took a deep breath.

"Okay.. Please promise me you won't tell or ask Mika about the following.."

"I promise." She said confused.

"Mika and I walked through the mall yesterday and talked a bit.. He.. suddenly bought me flowers.."

"Huh ?!"

"Well I am naive so I thought he just bought them to cheer me up. I even thought he has a crush and just didn't tell us.."

"Wait - why would he buy you flowers if he has a crush on someone else ? That makes no sense."

Chay nodded.

"I know ! But.. I don't know.. We talked and shit and he suddenly went really quiet. I felt like I did something wrong..?"

"Chay I can't follow..?"

"Porsche said.. That Mika could have a crush on me.."

Fah just stared at him.

"I know it sounds stupid, but-"

"I think so too !"

"Huh ?!"

"Sorry for interrupting you but I think your brother is right.."

"Well there were a few signs. I know him so I know how he acts when he's in love."

"We talked about that fucker Macau and that we're happy that he's not in your club." Fah said without thinking, making this lie actually believeable.
