Everyone was in shock. Timothy was crying uncontrollably and couldn't believe what had just happened.
"I'm sorry, Timothy. I know this is difficult for you, and for all of us." said Joshua trying to comfort him.
"I can't believe my father did that. I can't believe my mother is dead..." Timothy said sobbing.
"We have to move. There are zombies outside." said Gadiel to keep them focused on the situation.
"Where are we going to go?" said Sofia with sadness in her face.
"I don't know yet, but we have to move and find a safe place." said Gadiel seriously.
We left the store and saw several zombies wandering the streets. Gadiel tried to keep the group close to me and together ran towards a less populated area.
Finally, we found an abandoned house that seemed safe. We blocked the doors and windows with furniture and tried to rest.
"How are we going to survive in this world?" Timothy asked, his gaze lost in emptiness.
"I don't know, but we have to stay strong and fight for our survival. Together we can do it." Gadiel replied, trying to maintain a positive attitude.
(the next day)
"Guys, we need to find supplies for this abandoned house" said Shanice. "Ada stay
here with Timothy and tried to clean some stuff." Ada nodded.
"Gadiel and Joshua, go to look for some animals and food to eat today," said Shanice. "I will be with Sofia searching for wood to protect this house from the zombies".
Everyone agreed with Shanice.
(Gadiel and Joshua's pov)
"That's weird" said Joshua to Gadiel, looking at some guns that were behind a tree.
"WATCH OUT!" Gadiel screamed to Joshua.
There was a guy trying to punch Joshua, but he easily dodged.
"Let's take him to the house" said Gadiel.
He was about to knock him out, but a pretty girl walked out from a bush scared, she screamed "WAIT, ARE YOU GOING TO KILL US!?"
At that moment Shanice and Sofia appeared in the scene.
"Who are you!?" Asked Sofia pointing in the head with a gun to the girl.
"Take both of them." Said Gadiel, pointing to the guy with the gun.
Gadiel and Joshua striked the unknown guy, and with him and the other girl unconscious by Shanice's punch they dragged their bodies to the abandoned house.
"Who are they?" said Timothy and Ada, surprised.
"Help us to get them in the basement." said Shanice.
Everyone helped to tie the two strangers in some old chairs.
"We should kill them." Said Sofia, wanting to finally shoot one of them and get over them quickly.
"PLS NO" Said the girl with tears in her eyes looking at Joshua straight in the eyes.
"Don't kill them, maybe they can help us in something" said Joshua
The guy looking at the group with anger said "If you touch my girlfriend I swear i'll kill you and rip your eyes out of your head"
"Dude, chill" said Gadiel with a mock voice.
"Don't tell me to chill." Said the guy.
Joshua, tired of the dumb comment, punched the guy straight in his face.
"Stop fighting, pls" Said the girl.
"What should we do with them?" Said Ada, while the guy quietly woke up.
"Let's ask her some questions, she is the only one awake" Continued Ada.
"Who are you and where do you come from? Are you alone?" Asked Timothy intrigued.
"Vamo' a decile' la velda', que eta' gente tiene su hierro y no pueden dal de baja" Said the girl intimidated.
"Callate la boca, ello' no van a sabe' la jabladuría que le woa deci'' Said the guy with an angry expression in spanish, thinking nobody would understand him.
"My name is Ivan and her name is Maria, we were working on a cure for the zombies" Said the guy.
"Fine, we will give you food and this basement to stay for now, but if you try anything weird we will make sure you don't get out of here alive" Said Sofia with a firm voice.
"Wait, don't move" said Shanice to Ivan and Maria.
The group reunited in a corner to talk alone.
"Ellos creen que nosotro' somo' gringos e'?" Said Gadiel with a funny tone.
"No podemos matarlos, al menos por ahora no" Said Timothy. Ada and Joshua agree with him.
Shanice and Sofia took the girl to the laundry room of the abandoned house. .
"Take this, and get dressed" said Shanice to Maria, but before she went out of the room she noticed bruises and scars all over her skin.
"What happened to you?" Said Sofia to Maria looking at her carefully.
Maria started to cry instantly.
"It's fine, you can talk with us." said Shanice.
"That guy, Ivan has been my boyfriend for a long time, or that's what he thinks. But in the past few years he started to lose his mind and started to abuse me and punch me if i make the simplest mistake..." Said Maria with sadness in her face.
Joshua overheard the conversation when he passed by the door. For some reason he felt guilty but he didn't know why. He was pissed off and went to talk with Timothy and Gadiel to tell them what he heard.
"He's abusive." Said Joshua, a little bit angry. "We have to get rid of him".
"We have to be careful with whatever we do with him" Said Timothy concerned.
"Be careful? We have to kill him!" Said Joshua angrily.
"I agree with Joshua, it's not safe that we have him here" Said Gadiel
"Calm down guys, we don't know if what she says is real." Said Timothy trying to calm them.
"You're right, we better go to sleep, I'm tired." Said Gadiel.
Everyone went upstairs while Ivan and Maria stayed in the basement.
(Later that night)
Ivan took the opportunity while everyone was asleep to abuse Maria.
"Porque tu le dijite' a ello' sobre nuestro secreto!" Said Ivan to Maria angrily.
"Perdón... no era mi intención" said Maria starting to cry.
Ivan starts to punch Maria in her stomach, not letting her breath.
Ada, with a horror face, stood there in shock.
"Help me pls!" Said Maria in pain.
Ivan looks at Ada and goes to her, and Ada quickly runs upstairs to look for some help. Joshua wakes up by the noise and goes downstairs to look what is happening.
"Help me! He wants to kill us!" Said Ada traumatized.
"You were trying to do what!?" Said Joshua angrily, approaching him to punch him in his face.
The other guys woke up and went downstairs.
"What's happening?" Said Gadiel looking at the fight.
"Don't look, help me to beat this guy" Said Joshua while fighting with Ivan. Gadiel starts to punch Ivan. Sofia, Shanice and Timothy go to help Ada and Maria.
"Wait! I can explain" Said Ivan with pain.
"You don't need to explain anything!" Said Joshua angrily.
"Don't kill him." Said Gadiel.
"Let's torture him!" Said Sofia with pleasure in her face.
"Wait, don't do it!" Ivan said as Gadiel and Joshua dragged him and tied him up on a chair.
"You have nice fingers" Said Sofia to Ivan, making a psycho face and grabbing a cleaver knife.
"NO NO NO, I'M SORRY I WONT DO IT AGAIN" Yelled Ivan to Sofia in tears.
Sofia didn't care, so she started chopping his middle finger.
"STOP, PLEASE NO" Said Ivan screaming in pain...
