𝟬𝟭𝟰, 𝗶 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿.

juliet wakes up to someone shaking her lightly, she opens her eyes to see matt above her. the triplets and madi had stayed over to take them to the airport.

"hey" matt smiles softly "get up"

"no" juliet whines

"you have to be at the airport in an hour" matt says

"what?" juliet grabs her phone from under the pillow. it was three am and you have to show up two hours before your flight, which in her case was at six am "i'll get dressed"

"i left clothes for you on the dresser" matt says, pulling her suitcase up "i'll take the suitcase out and you get ready"

"okay" juliet says quietly, getting out of bed "why do you not seem at all affected by the fact that i'm leaving?"

"because, it's too soon to be sad" matt shrugs "i'll cry when i see you leaving for security"

"okay" juliet smiles softly "give me ten minutes, i'll be ready"

matt kisses her forehead and leaves the room, closing the door to give the girl privacy. she grabs the sweatpants and hoodie that matt left out for her. she got dressed and out in the shoes she had left out. she walks outside the room to see all of her friends sitting on the couch.

"i'm ready" juliet mutters, still half asleep "and i'm hungry"

"here" nick hands her a happy meal from mcdonalds "you can eat in the car"

"okay," juliet says, "let's go"

they walk out to the car, juliet and chris switching seats. juliet rests her elbow on the arm rest and puts her head in her hand, closing her eyes.

"matt make sure she doesn't fall asleep" mac reprimands from the third row

"jj" matt taps her head "dont go to sleep"

"im not" juliet mumbles

"juliet i swear to fuck open your eyes and get your head up!" mac exclaims

"shut up mac!" juliet brings her knees up to her chest, resting her forehead on her kneecaps

the car is silent for the next thirty five minutes until matt parks in the airport parking lot, helping the three with their suitcases.

"madi" juliet says, walking beside madi

"yeah?" madi asks, looking over to the slightly taller girl than her

"thanks for introducing matt to me" juliet scrunches her nose slightly

"it's my pleasure," madi smiles softly "i feel like a matchmaker"

"you are" juliet chuckles, being pulled away by matt's arm around her "hi" she looks up at him

"hey," matt smiles down at her "what were you and madi talking about?"

"nothing" juliet shrugs

"mhm" matt smiles, pulling her in closer to his side "so you're going to check in, then we're gonna spend another hour together and then you'll go to your gate"

"okay sure" juliet smiles, walking in the airport "woah! there's no line!"

"i already checked our things in" carlota says, walking towards all of them "i don't wanna leave"

"move here" madi frowns "you guys can live with me! my parents wouldn't mind!"

"or with us!" nick exclaims

"yeah!" chris continues the thread

"we can't move here" mac complains "i wish we could, but we can't"

"yes you can" matt says

"excuse me, are you going to boston?" a worker walks up to them

"yeah, why?" mac asks

"you guys should go through security now, the flight is leaving in about forty minutes" the lady says "it got moved"

"oh, we'll be there" juliet nods slightly, the lady leaving "no fucking way"

"that's so not fair!" chris exclaims

"chris it's fine" carlota mumbles "we'll text you guys when we land" she hugs nick

"yeah" nick frowns, hugging the girl back

they all say bye to each other, matt trying to stall juliet.

"did you bring your toothbrush? your glasses?" matt asks her

"yes, i have everything matt and i really have to go" juliet chuckles "i'll call you"

matt nods and hugs her once more, letting her and her friends walk away.

"wait" matt mumbles, holding her hand back

"yea-"

he places his lips on hers quickly, a smile showing on her face.

"bye" matt smiles, letting her hand go

"bye" juliet answers, walking away with her two exhilarated best friends

"MATT WHAT THE FUCK!" nick exclaims, practically tackling his brother

"did you two jus- what did i ju- HOLY FUCK!" chris chuckles, putting his hands on his head

"i'm so proud" madi sighs
