juliet was lying down on carlotas lap, her eyes staring straight ahead to the tv. the whole group (but madi) was on juliet's couch watching gilmore girls.
"RORY!" chris stands up, putting his hands on his head "DONT! PULL AWAY RIGHT NOW! NOW YOU STUPID B- OH MY GOD NO SHES TAKING HIM TO BED HOLY SHIT! DEAN GET AWAY LEAVE YOU MORON!"
"chris it's just a show" carlota chuckles
"what do you mean?" matt looks at carlota "SHES SLEEPING WITH A MARRIED MAN!"
"i'm team lindsay" nick raises his hand
"we all are" mac answers
"LORELAI AND LUKE FUCK YES MAKE OUT!" chris yells at the tv
"CHRIS SHUT THE FUCK UP MY CHILD IS SLEEPING!" juliet points to her child, which is linny who was sleeping on juliets stomach, but eventually linny lifted her head "im sorry baby, i'll kick chris out"
"it's a cat" chris deadpans
"it? you just called my cat an it" juliet gasps, holding linny and standing up "im gonna go sleep"
"i'll go with you" matt stands up, chris raising his eyebrows at him "i have to take to her about something!"
"alright" chris nods skeptically
juliet walks to her room, waiting for matt before closing the door behind them.
"what do you need to talk about?" juliet asks, kneeling down and placing linny on her own bed
"something" matt answers, "can you get up?"
"yeah" juliet stands up, facing him "what's up?"
matt pulls her in by her waist and places his lips on her, she placing her hand on his cheek and deepening the kiss.
"no but seriously what did you want to talk about?" juliet pulls away
"shhh" matt kisses her again, "i didnt need to talk about anything" he shrugs "i just cant kiss you in front of them or they'll tease us"
"are you embarrassed to kiss me in front of them?" juliet raises her eyebrows at him
"no, but they'll think it's weird. they'll think we're dating and burden us with questions" matt replies
"oh," juliet says "right. i'm gonna go to sleep"
"okay, goodnight" matt kisses her forehead "i'll join you later?"
"whatever you want" juliet shrugs
matt smiles softly and leaves the room, closing the door behind him, leaving juliet alone and tapping her foot on the planked floor while the taps echoed a little.
why was matt so fucking afraid to kiss her in front of them?, but also, why was juliet overreacting about it?.
