Y/n's Pov

I got behind Leon's back and soon the Facility doors busted open-- I fired 4 shots at the moss covered zombie and it dropped down to the ground-- I felt Leon's back shaking due the gun recoil--Another sneaked up on me grabbing my leg and grumbled.

Y/n- "Shit get away!" I yelled and panic fired Into his head-- I fired 6 bullets but only managed to hit 5- but that was enough--

Leon- "Be careful Y/n! They're very sneaky" Leon said while reloading and hissed-- 

I got composed myself and kept shooting the Zombies. 

Y/n- "Fuck! There's no end to them!" I exhaled and kept shooting them until I had only one bullet left-- Fuck fuck fuck! not good!-- The Final zombie started approaching me and I shot it on its knee-- It dropped to its knee and that's my queue-- I dashed and got behind him-- Grabbing him and hugging him from behind, with all my force I held his waist from behind and carried him backwards--Smashing his head down on the ground into a bloody mess-- I jolted myself up and noticed Leon eyeing me.

Leon- "You've got moves Y/n" He said while resting his hand on his hips and I smiled.

Y/n- "Yeahh...! but I'm nothing compared to your level of experience." I chimed in and he chuckled.

Leon- "You'll get there in no time..." he said in a calm voice and I exhaled to calm myself-- How can one man be so...good!! I bet all the girls in the DSO would kill to be in my place right now.

Y/n- "We should get a move on...We might've attracted more of them because of our ruckus here" I hushed and he nodded.

Leon- "Stay behind me" He whispered and I nodded--

I have always worked alone in a mission but this is my first time with a partner...sorta..and who would've guess...Its Leon- Someone I've always looked up to and have a huge crush on...I had no hope for my survival but he saved me-- I know it's not the right situation but I cant help myself...

Time skip

We kept wandering around the facility when we finally reached an elevator door--

Leon- "Looks like we can force it open..." He flashed his flashlight and I hummed in approval--He slid his fingers through the gap and pulled a bit.

Leon- "Yeah we definitely can, give me a hand Y/n" 

Y/n- "On it!"

I slipped my fingers in and we both pulled hard on the door-- Little by little it started to open-- We gave it all and it opened up swiftly revealing  The elevator.

Leon- "Good job" He praised and I smiled 

Y/n- "Thank you" I looked away and he stepped into the elevator- Following behind him he started looking everywhere-- I carefully observed the surrounding with and and noticed a hatch down-

Y/n- "Leon there's a hatch here on the floor..."  I crouched down and inspected the The floor.

Leon- "Keen eyes..." He crouched down beside me me and flashed his flashlight to the ground.

Leon- "Give me your knife-- I'll pry it open" He said and I handed him the knife-- He carefully slid the knifes edge into the gap an flipped it opened-- He flashed the flashlight down 

Y/n- "That's... a big drop..." I looked down and gulped.

Leon- "Not good with heights?" He flashed me a smirk and I looked away.
