I bent down to read the file-- The light was dim but I could still read-- The file said--
'Test 29- The revenant was successful and the havoc it created on the test subjects were phenomenal. Revenant's vitals were normal and movement were normal. It had the normal freak out moments but we subdued it with anesthetics.'
Holy balls they were developing bio weapons here!-- I rolled the papers about the revenant and shoved it into a little cylindrical file carrier I bought with me-- I went through more files and put it all in the container I bought-- I could just show up with these files and get my pay but with the additional information in the USB maybe I'll get a bonus..?-- I collected all the necessary files and sighed...-- finally this nightmare will be over soon.
I looked at the desk and found a hand written note-- I picked it up and started reading it-- 'It escaped! Section B is fucking dead' -- Huh...? -- Suddenly I felt a sharp pain on my lower right side on my belly-- I looked down and saw a rusty blade sticking out through me-- What the FUCK????-- It pulled out the blade and I stumbled back on the desk--
Leon- "Y/N!!" I heard Leon yell and I fell down-- I reached up and grabbed the desk-- I pulled myself up and I groaned-- I heard footsteps and metal clanking going away from me-- I then heard Leon grunting and metal clanking-- clumsily turning around I saw a monstrosity I never saw.

It was a weird Frankensteined freak which looked absolutely terrifying-- I wailed and held onto my wound-- Leon emptied several bullets into that things body but seemed like it was no use-- The monster snarled and crawled creepily towards Leon-- Leon kicked it back but that monster seemed too desperate-- My vision started blurring...My breath slowly started slowing down-- Is this how things fucking end...-- I heard Leon grunt in pain which jolted my eyes open-- I saw the monster now on top of him trying to get a bite out of him-- Shit I have to do something...!-- The room suddenly turns red and an announcement goes off-- 'Security breach detected......Initiating self destruct sequence In 5 minutes -- The voice echoed and I mustered up the courage to pull the knife out of my harness-- I grabbed the knife from my harness and grabbed it with both of my hands-- I sloppily made my way to the monster-- Leon did a good job keeping him busy...-- I groaned and when I reached him-- I held the knife up and plunged it deep into the monster skull-- It yelled loudly and started switching-- I twisted the knife hard into his skull and it yelled even louder-- It was deafening...- I pulled the knife out and the monster stumbled down-- Falling to the ground...Dead-- The knife slipped out of my hand and my legs started wobbling-- I was about to fall but Leon was quick enough to catch me.
Leon- "Hey!! Y/n are you okay???" He said in a shaky tone and all I could do was smile.
Leon- "This is not good... Y/n...We have to go..." He peered into my eyes and I shook my head.
Y/n- "P-Please G-Go...I'll only slow yo-you down.." I pressed my lips and he gently laid me down on the ground-- he stood up and rushed away...-- Feeling a relief I closed my eyes...The annoying hum of the alarm was really not helping me enjoy my last moment--
