During the days she and Plagg talked about various things, Plagg told her a lot about the other previous owners.

Until the night.

She approached the carriage door and looked up at the sky. In the sky of Gotham was a quiet night but she was not in Gotham now what she saw was a sky full of twinkling stars above.

She said: Hey Plagg do you want to watch the stars with me?

Plagg was cheese when he heard her saying to sit with her to watch the stars, he nodded in agreement, flew over to sit on her head.

Marinette: The stars are beautiful, aren't they.

Plagg: You've never seen these?

She shook her head: Gotham's sky is just black without any stars, it's also the first time I've seen stars.

He looked into her eyes it showed the innocence of seeing something new. What he didn't understand was how she was able to keep that innocent smile when she had endured so much pain, maybe he would never know.

Marinette: Look, Plagg.

Plagg turned to where she saw only a passing star: So what?

Marinette: Can't you see? That shooting star hurry make a wish.

To him those stars were just a passing stone but her expression really made him feel so strange, he wondered if it was love. From the past the owners always loved and respected him until the bad owners used him for bad purposes.

Marinette reminded him of them how they treated him like a friend rather than a slave obeying his master's orders.

He was thinking too much without realizing that Marinette was worried about him.

Marinette asked in a worried voice: Are you okay, Plagg?

Plagg woke up from his thoughts: Huh? What's the matter?

Marinette: You've been looking at me for a while without moving which makes me worries.

Plagg: Oh, I was just thinking about something.

Marinette: What did you wish for?

Plagg slyly replied: Why don't you tell me, I'll tell you mine.

Marinette shook her head: Not if I tell you it won't come true.

Plagg: Come on, you can tell me I'll keep it a secret from anyone.

Marinette looked at Plagg: Really?

Plagg: I'm telling the truth.

Marinette: Okay, I wish I had a lot of friends and wouldn't be lonely.

This makes him surprise, because what she wants is friends, he understands how lonely it is, which makes him want to be by her side and protect her from danger.

Marinette: I said mine and yours.

Plagg: Mine... Well... I wish I had a lot of cheese and shared it with you.

Marinette: Aww you don't have to, I'll buy as many as you want too.

Plagg hugs Marinette: You are the best friends.

Marinette also hugs Plagg: You too Plagg.

Plagg: (Don't worry Marinette as long as I'm here no one will hurt you)

The two decided to go to sleep so that tomorrow they could go and look at the other train cars to see what was inside.

Next morning.
