"Leander ruined everything!" I yelled out as Sebastian and I walked hand-in-hand to the snowy courtyard. We then sat on a frozen bench, away from leering stares. I began to shiver and he handed me his coat.

"He is a gremlin, most would say," he laughed. "He leeches off of everyone's assignments. The bloke never does his own work."

"So, you're saying you're not mad he conjured a chocolate frog for me?" I asked, my eyes still coated with the past tears- almost on the verge of starting again. He wrapped his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"Have you gone mad?" he asked me, pulling me into another embrace. The gentle snowflakes fell on the top of our heads. "It's not your fault everyone wants you in this school. Anyone not trying to pine after you is a total fool."

"Sebastian-"

"Come with me to the catacombs. There is something in there that may help save Anne," he changed the topic of conversation within seconds - as if he knew I was going to say something like 'That's not true Sebastian, stop that'. "It's a relic."

"Right now? I've got Astronomy tonight."

"Then we've got to get a move on, shall we?"

Once we arrived we found ourselves face-to-face with a skull-lined entrance. Yet another dark, mysterious, and eery cave to explore.

Bones lay everywhere, throughout the puzzles, the doorways, and breaking just underneath our feet. Every step was equally as terrifying as the next, as the darkness was overpowering to the point where even Lumos could not show us anything. Sebastian led the way, only about an arm's length away from me.

However, the darkness became darker - which I did not think was possible - and I heard him yell out.

"Be careful!" I yelled out, but before I knew it, I watched Sebastian slip and fall into a crevice. It was murky and had a few feet of water. I took a deep breath and decided to not panic this time. "Repairo," I called out, watching as the rocks pushed him back up to the surface - making a bridge to walk on.

I ran to hug him - as if I had lost him. Losing him for those stressful two minutes was one of the scariest feelings I have had in a while. Much like dropping from the air without a safety net.

He dug his head into the crook of my neck and I felt his long hair tickle my back. But, it was a comforting feeling. He was a comfort to me.

My hands stayed wrapped around him, never letting go. I convinced myself that if I never let go, he would never get hurt. Tears started to brew but I stopped them - well, the best I could. I could not bear losing him. Not now, not ever.

"Cel, is earlier at Transfiguration class still bothering you?" He asked me in a muffled voice, as his entire face was pushed deep into my robe. He most definitely did not understand why I had kept him in such a long embrace.

"I'm so devoted...to," I stuttered, my breath becoming irregular. "To you."

"Does this mean you are finally mine?"

"You're the only one that's holding me down..." I drawled as I began to loosen up our embrace to face him. "Why are you so attached to me?"

"I could ask you the same thing," he chuckled - a quite boyish chuckle. "Despite the fact that you are a master at avoiding my question, the answer lies right here." He pointed to my heart.

"Elaborate, will you?"

"It is the way my heart beats so fast when I am around you and when I am in your presence. The way my head tells me I should not, but my heart knows it leads the way. It's as if I was meant to be yours and you as mine."

"You think we are meant to be?"

"Have you not felt it?"

"I have, indeed... But, quite frankly, I don't have a clue what I am feeling, this is all so new to me. The way you make me feel is nothing I have ever felt before," I explained as he grabbed my cold hands to warm them up.

"Then say the word and we can be together. We don't have to sneak around. We can be out and about... Even Professor Sharp believes we should be together!" There was a long silence before I could muster enough courage to respond.

"I want to be yours, Sebastian. Now, tomorrow, and every day." He gave me a big smile, one that showcased his pearly whites and crinkled little lines around his freckled nose.

He pulled me into a kiss. This one was more of a peck, however. Mostly because we had a mission and I was on a time restraint.

"Now, let's go get that relic."
